Problem is I dun really trust those factory outlets..Although looks genuine, I'm suspecting they are Grade AAA immitation & you are buying it at super high price...

Well, the fact I dun wear branded good wan haha.. biggrin.gif blush.gif For sure you can't find a RM10 or Rp30,000 Tee in Bandung but you can find a rp25K or RM8 t-shirt at Mangga Dua mall in Jakarta biggrin.gif

probably not originals really

but the distros are a different story. bandung is famous for their local brands actually. and they are really really good. great design great quality and great fit

i personally recommend mofo and screamous. red-line's jeans are freakin awesome too

Yeah hv agree on the local quality in Bandung. The rp30k souvenir T-shirt I bought in Tangkuban prahu volcano really made of thick cotton almost similar or better quality than those in Bangkok. Not like those thin polysyeter or something selling at Petaling st haha

I would like to go to bandung on January 2011 which I already bought a flight ticket for three. The problem now is Im looking for best travel fare from Jakarta Airport to Bandung.

Currently I managed to get 4 days 3 nights travel fare as below:

"pik up jakarta airport to Bandung Rp 600.000.-
untuk city tour Bandung Rp 375.000.-/day
across from Bandung to Soekarno Hatta Airport Rp 600.000.-
jakarta airport - bandung
bandung city tour (2 hari)
bandung- jakarta airport
total : Rp 1.950.000.- all in sudah termasuk biaya sopir layanan, minyak, tol ( highway ), parkir and car selama 4 hari"

For me, is this a normal price?? or i can cheaper than this?? Please help me sad.gif

merging this to either Jakarta/Bandungthread.

I came back last mth from Jakarta bandung. Taxi fare to bandung is not cheap. Normally ppl take Bus from the airport. From Jakarta airport to Bandung you can either use Primajasa or Ciptaganti buses/vans or even their taxi.

Both bus/van/taxi counters located outside the airport near A&W restaurant. Bus fare is at Rp75,000/pax.. Can't remember the taxi & van rate liao.. Ciptaganti bus stop at Giant Hypermarket Jln Pasteur, Bandung, wehereas Priimajasa stop at the South side at Bandung supermall..if I'm not mistaken

The Cipta Ganti bus-lah.. Yeah it's jam but moving. The worst was actually reaching bandung. Stucked right after the toll plaza...darn..1/2 hr just for ~ 3km distance to Giant Hyper.

Suppose to be 3 hrs journey ended ~ 4hrs. Reaching Bandung wth almost 30min stop at KM57 rest area. (Well pretty big rest area but toilet have to pay!!

owh ok, thats good news if the traffic is moving. just to make sure do u taking this bus "Cipaganti. Probably the biggest name in the business, they serve over a half a dozen points throughout Jakarta and its suburbs from their terminal at the Bandung Trade Center (BTC) on the western side of the city, with shuttles leaving every 20 minutes or so on most routes. Rp. 75,000 for a shared ride, Rp. 700,000 for a point-to-point charter."im quote from http://wikitravel.org/en/Bandung

are u satisfy with the bus condition and maybe do u have any better idea than cipta ganti bus?
