Hi
What side trips would you recommend if you have 7 days in Bandung?
It would be a bit too long for just shopping and sightingseeing around Bandung wouldn't it?
Borobudur/Prambunan? How long does it take?
Is it worth making a trip to Jakarta?

Goto Safari park, 2 hours aways... is very worth to visit, better than any zoo in malaysia.

Then can visit bogor town then to jakarta.

Jakarta have evrything cheap, eg: 1.5 hours massage only 30k.

Thanks mingyew. Wonder they it's called a safari and not a zoo. The animals roam in the open?

What's there in Bogor to visit/do?

Don't fancy visiting JKT. How much is massage in Bandung?

About safari, u all can looking here:http://www.tamansafari.com/

Last time i stay lodge inside the safari, quite cold at the night, the room without fan/aircond.
They have 2 section, 1 is driving path which all the animal roaming around,
u can either drive your own vehicle and take a ride on their mini bus.
you can buy carrot to feed them but not lion la as they are not vege... wahahah...

Another 1 is normal zoo with show show. you can hug small tiger here if u want too (need paid).

Personally feel quite fun, but not sure for others.

Bogor nothing special, small town with a huge botanical garden (kebunraya).

bandung usually for shopping only.

All hotels around the region & probably around the world having same system-lah..& depending on the booking website & also types of accommodation

If you book via online hostel booking website such as asiaroom, agoda, & etc it''s per room
If you book via hostelworld & more like hostel club thingy - It's by person
If you book direct from the hotel - it will be per room basis
If direct to hostel or bed & brakfast - per person

Added on August 30, 2010, 1:41 pmI have chk with several friends in Bandung.Bandung seems to be safe. No demonstration and what not. But please be cautious on your surrouding when you are there. Don't talk loudly in our BI or BM Malaysia slang. You might get stares from them.
