The most important part comes down to using a cleaning agent that does the job. I will be using an industrial grade Alkaline Coil Cleaner made for air conditioners; compressor, cooling coil, condenser and evaporator cleaning. Mixed in a ratio of 1:4 it is extremely potent, not to mention causing rashes on my skin upon contact.

I find the solution bubbles extremely amusing and looks like a whirlpool. Though I would share this as well  laugh.gif
I repeated a wash (3 minutes), soak (5 minutes) and rinse of the HSF a total of 3 times.

Yeah it works. I did the same thing to my D14 the last time I cleaned it. Different method, but same idea.

Ghetto mod on Noctua NH-D14, cable ties ftw...triple GT fans connected to Lamptron fan controller @ 70% fan speed, virtually silent.

Hello sifu. Any best air cooler around RM100 for my Core i7 4790 and Storm scout 2 case. Currently using Intel stock cooler and i hate it. CPU temperature around 38-39 idle and 40-44C when normal loading 60C when gaming.... not planning for overclocking, just want the cpu temperature get closer to ambient temperature as low as possible.

You can try to ask hikari85.
But I heard Lian-li distro already stopped carrying Lian-li. A quick check at China, that accessory that you are looking costs around RM110 lol. Excluding shipping. sweat.gif

Planning on replacing the screws around my casing fans with alternatives.

Do you guys recommend silicone screws, rubber screws or these Lamptron rubber mounts?

Will be using for them for the top exhaust and front intake.

the silicone screws should be good enough to act as dampener for ur vibrating fans. don't find it really necessary in the first place though... icon_idea.gif
