if ur on high rams,
i suggest not using too much of ur HDD as virtual memory, too me, swapping too much at times might kill HDD
just extra wear and tear on the hdds... bah.. just cauz ur pagefile is large doesnt mean windows will fill it up. however, if a small pagefile is filled up and theres not enough, what happens? i think windows always tries to 'finish using' ram before using the pagefile, at least to an extent i suggest not using too much of ur HDD as virtual memory, too me, swapping too much at times might kill HDD

hmm, in my opinion, the most of the antivirus, thier realtime scan is not as efficient(in term of Detecting and Cleaning) as the conventional scan engine. So thats why we still hv to conduct a full system scan weekly or monthly.
well, maybe norton beefed up thier Real Time Scan, thats why it uses up so many resources.
heh... lets hope so. norton aint really favoured by many people here... even though its amazingly popular among the horde of users out there...well, maybe norton beefed up thier Real Time Scan, thats why it uses up so many resources.
