Yes, a PS3 blu-ray disc. Hmm... The problem is that the only blu-ray discs I have are PS3 ones.
But aren't they supposed to be the same since they are all blu-ray?

nope, i dont think they are the same. its the same with a ps2 disc, its technically a dvd but it wont read on dvd players.

i think most of the compliants is only from a person. personally, i cat comment much bt the sxps16 since im using the sxps13. the forum at notebookreviews had quite abit of compliants too and i was kinda worried but after getting my model , i must say im quite happy with it. other than it being abit loud, i dont really have other compliants about it.

yea ~ mostly the complain is from me !!
bcoz until now Dell hvnt finish fix my unit, after taking bck 1 week also unable to settle it.
today is 3rd time repairing.... hope this is last repair ~

just know while relaxing i play Devil May cry 4 Human 06 (forest) when i fighting with the BOSS my screen turn black again
then use alt F4, i saw icons show driver stop working ~.~ (i didnt see which driver T.T)
dont tell me is GC ... If that sure overheat ....

I remember that i playing Counter strike with my friend XPS 13, but black screen occurred few time while playing ... there showing driver stop running ...
few day later .... He XPS 13 GC die ....

swt ... dnt tell me this SXPS 16 also facing such problem T.T

ey guys,

have a sight problem with my xps13 here.

my left usb is somehow not working perfectly.

it is supplying power (the led light on the flash drive is on), but it does not detect any hardware. anybody facing the same problem? (already tried different numerous flash drive)

p/s: wanna confirm with u guys before i start calling dell.

That is normal Stupid Vista problem not hardware failure

for that USB problem ... it's vista problem ! ur unit need time to recognize driver. restart it few time can try ur USB ... It will solve ur problem.

have u try turning off Ati CCC powerplay?

din try dmc4 with this laptop yet, but din get any problem with other game like crysis (more demanding i guess). playing fear2 now using almost full high setting and no problem so far.

I just got myself a XPS 16 last night. There seems to be some distorted sound coming out from the right speaker. But when i turn off the Soundblaster and IDT software....no distortion. Weird! Anyone have this problem?

I uninstalled Creative SoundBlaster Advanced MB, because there's no need for 2 audio management software.
Now with IDT alone I do noticed distorted music, but that rarely happens.
