I'm may in trouble as 60" may too near to my wall sad.gif due to centre point of light

Aiyo! Me also need to find baby fan for the dining area........ btw i thought there's 56" fan, got 58" meh? Seems TopTen Puchong is the best bargain for fans so far, surveyed the price, may just buy 7 Panasonic 4 blade type fans and something like 42 downlights

The Plaster ceiling contractor can do for you. When they install, they ask you where you want fan mah. Also the electrician will ask you where you want the fan point, and the switch location.

Yea bro, the seller told me that if plaster
ceiling, cannot do coz it needs to be mounted
onto the wall. I dont fully understand but as far
as I know, it's not with hook like normal fan.
Basically should I ask the plaster fellow to poke
hole or do anything before can do the installation?

Friend, this is how the plaster ceiling folk will do. If you tell them that will be a Fan, that wood plus wood together, if you tell them it will be a light (not downlight) he will also put a wood there except you alreayd know what type of light, because they worry that the plaster ceiling metal can't support it

At this point, I have around 8 light point installed with wood, so that I could just use it when I want thumbup.gif , else once the plaster ceiling fix in, it will be hard to get wiring or wood in place.

Usually they ask you for type of light and estimate weigh too.

Because my plaster ceiling guy ask me what kind of light, is it crystal light. He say if the light going to hang is heavy need to get support from concrete. Or the larger good if on first floor.

I am installing a plaster ceiling. Due to low ceiling and many overhead beam,
I have relatively cramped space for ceiling fan and down lights.
What is the minimum distance between the edge of the spinning fan blade and the down lights to avoid the flickering lights effects? icon_question.gif
