All,
Besided baby fan, what out standard size on Fan outside there? I know it have 58 / 60", anything around 58" <=> 48"  and which brand are there?

I'm may in trouble as 60" may too near to my wall sad.gif due to centre point of light

Aiyo! Me also need to find baby fan for the dining area........ btw i thought there's 56" fan, got 58" meh? Seems TopTen Puchong is the best bargain for fans so far, surveyed the price, may just buy 7 Panasonic 4 blade type fans and something like 42 downlights

my living hall and kitchen area where KDK K14X8-GY (with remote) are installed is now producing humming noise after 2 yrs. I bit dissapointted but is it normal? At speed 2, the humming noise will come out after 45 min from switching ON but if i switch ON at 3rd speed immediately, it will hum straight away.... vmad.gif

My Deka baby fan kaput, the white box is screwed needs replacement but just dunno where to get it. Calls to their service centre seems futile. mad.gif

Just wanna share my house is equipped with all KDK K14y9 fans and 2 main fans (living hall both upstairs and downstairs) had speed reduced to 2 only for the longest time. I bought the pcb and replaced them myself. Process was simple and the speed is even faster when compared to other same fan and I'm guessing this is possible as new pcb has higher/bigger capacitors which explained the higher speed. Process as folows:

Twist counter clock wise by 1/2 inch main cover
Unscrew 3 screw to remove the cover covering the pcb
Unplug the both connectors with fingers
Remove old pcb and replace with new pcb
Plug back both connectors (you can't go wrong as both connectors are different sizes)
Put back the cover and screw it in placed
Place back main cover and turn clock wise again
Switch ON the fan and test
Tools use is only a philip screwdriver

Bought pcb at $55 per pc (cheapest among all sellers from LzD) from the following
https://s.lazada.com.my/s.2aNzf

1st pic is the old pcb
2nd and 3rd pic is new pcb
