hi guys, a quick question...when i play burnout paradise, it automatically prompted me to dl the latest version, 1.5....there was no option for me to choose except OK
so i had to wait like 8 hrs to dl the update due to streamyx before i can play the game...
is there anyway to skip the update when i purchase a new game in the future?
Tks...

QUOTE(unrealweapon @ Jan 5 2009, 03:29 PM) i dun really recommend u playing burnout paradise without any updates u missed out the trophies, and a bug that may caused ur ps3 to hang is still there.. u cant play online too.. my suggest is to use ps3 proxy to download your updates via your pc/laptop @ full speed. burnout paradise are patched is stages, not mistaken 3 patches, 1st downloaded, install and continue with second and the third. yup, tks man...i did dl the updates, and you were rite, 3 diff updates.....took me the whole nite.... think i'll try the proxy next time....but seems the downloads are quick now...must have chosen the wrong time to update

QUOTE(Sairenji @ Jan 17 2009, 05:26 PM) Emm...a nub question. While registering warranty online, it requires you to put invoice number. But where can i find it? Receipt? It doesn't state which one is the invoice number. >_< Oh, FYI, my PS3 is Malaysian set. u got it from sony? the inv # shud be stated in the receipt.... shud start with 82xxxxxxxx thats what i used when i registered mine... QUOTE(pakcikkantin @ Jan 21 2009, 11:03 AM) wat, now can buy just the console without games??? i bought mine end of december, at RM 1899 with 2 games which i hardly play.... shud have waited for the white, with model CECHL06/CW, as they are the newer variation with smaller gpu size, which means less heat....

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jan 21 2009, 11:48 AM) Every MY PS3 unit is already using the 65nm variation die process for the Cell and RSX. So you're fine there. Smaller chips also mean less heatsinks, and no heatpipes. No doubt it still does run cooler than the previous 65nm/90nm models. glad to hear that...tks....at least all is not lost....lol
