Thanks it depends on the network adapter. my laptop wifi adapter can only function as a client & in ad-hoc mode. the only way is using softAP, which is a software/driver hack to make it function in infrastructure (AP) mode. this thread was created on 2006 though. i dont know about newer wifi adapters / softAPs available now. good luck |

its on the front page. just go to first page and look for the proxy info.
i never tried it myself so yeah. seems to work for others though.

how do I copy video files into the PS3 through USB thumbdrive? Does anyone have a guide?

put in the thumbdrive.
under video in xmb there should be your thumbdrive listed.
go to the file and open up the menu. (sometimes the file not there. you gotta click show all files or something like that)
click copy/transfer
i think thats correct. in my mind thats how i remember doing it. heh.

Y i cant go to into Sony Store or Sony home from my PS3, I am already sign up using my PS3....wireless is working as well.
My PS3 is Malaysia Set....anyone can help?
Added on January 15, 2009, 12:56 pmI kept on saying it cant be access from your account or no available in the country or region?
How can I change this?

Planning to get my ps3 by end of CNY.
How much the Malaysian 80gb set now? My friend bought for 1899 with some free games but only 1 controller. Thought that's a bit expensive.

It can detect the thumb drive...I used this to update the PS3 system. But it doesn't show the video or songs in the drive. |

I created a new PSN ID, but when I try to sign in using my PS3, it says that I can't sign in using other people's ID. Why is that? How am I suppose to do it so I can access PSN Store & PSN Home via PS3... |

Hi all.. finally my ps3 can online d... but need to use a cross over cable... the softAP software doesn't works... i think is due to it doesn't support vista...
