xtorm,
those softdrink cans are no good here. They're aluminium!
U need iron/steel… non-magnetically permeable stuffs.. tongue.gif

I got it from a shop tongue.gif
Just back home...no chance to test yet.

So far tested bookshelf (BS) speakers, more stable/better sound imaging.
Max current draw only 1000mA for BS with added extra one more unit of 8200uF power cap.
But power ON current draw went up close to 2000mA coz need to charge up 2 big caps tongue.gif

Took some time off during lunch and hit JP for some stuffs wink.gif
Got meself:

1. SMPS 12VDC 4.5A - same price as T-Amp! thumbup.gif
2. LCR Meter - China Made but what the heck, now I can measure... laugh.gif
3. Binding Post - for speaker connections
4. Ferrite rings }
5. Enamelled copper wire } DIY toroid inductor project brows.gif
6. Hakko soldering Iron..

I have decided to go with SMPS- Cheaper than a linear PSU, therefore Value For Money!

Oooo am I gonna be busy this weekend.. laugh.gif
