U can set clippy's behavior in Settings. To paste text, the easiest way is to hold the "123" key on the keyboard until u see the pop up.

Added on June 2, 2009, 11:33 pmNo U can't as the license is tied to the phone of purchase (tied to the IMEI). If you bought another phone, you can transfer the license to that phone and you can't use the license on the old phone. 1 license = 1 device only.

HI there,

a few noob questions .

1: when i launch my cydia, it always prompts up with Upgrade.then when u upgrade the cydia an error comes up:

"POSIX: Operation timed out"

i am connected via wifi.

2: i am about to install Categories via cydia under the

Featured packages > Free Apps > Categories

but theres no Install botton on the right side.

3: Is it safe for me to remove the Cydia frm my phone?

hello, i can't find clippy inside cydia...need help here

Do make sure you have ispazio repo installed. Then search for Clippy using the search function or check it in changes pane after you install the repo.

Recently i record few videos with Cycorder and plan to transfer the video to my PC but it seems can not work. Any idea?

RiP Dev Officially Discontinues Installer for iPhone

Today RiP Dev announced that it is officially discontinuing support of Installer for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Today, a new iPhone OS, 3.0 has been released. This is obviously a big and long waited for update for all iPhone users. And we believe, it is about time to officially announce that we are discontinuing support of Installer platform for iPhone and iPod touch.

Over past 1.5 years when we were involved in the Installer project (first in 3.x versions, then in 4.x), a lot of things has happened and we believe it's time to unify the installation platform for the iPhone — and clearly, over the past year this is DPKG, thanks to tremendous effort of Jay Freeman and his Cydia. We have also dropped our two cents by providing our own themeable and lightweight DPKG installer tool, named Icy.

So now you have a choice, which tool to use — and no matter what you choose, it will be compatible with each other. We obviously cannot speak for Jay, but we will do our best to make sure two products play nicely together.

The Installer 4 repositories we manage will be running until July 1st, 2009, then they will be discontinued and brought offline. So if you wanted to get something that is only available in the Installer — this is the time to do so.

We would like to take the opportunity and say “thank you” to everyone who has contributed and supported Installer project in any way. You rock.

hey..i tried installing the themes which was in the cydia. it stated this device will be reboot, then after reboot, it hangs at the apple logo. i reboot the iphone again, still the same. what should i do?

Cyntact works on 3.0
Cycorder works on 3.0. It has a glitch in the video list table, but the video preview is now full-speed, /even when showing an ad/

bro i can confirm tat bitesms, makeitmine, mcallshow, categories are working perfectly fine...

Quickgold confirmed not working, your iphone will be in safe mode if u install it.

cycorder not working for me, crash at start
