for silver or bright cars, just stick with sealant, M21, NXT..and etc. One reason is bright color cars can't play much on wet look which carbauna provides. if u wan to be easy, just go for NXT, if budget then go for permaglass

Hi..

Can anyone suggest me where can i repair small dents on my car besides the usual paint workshop?

I heard Carnauba Autospa had this dent removal service....how effective it is and what about the price for this service alone?Any feedbacks from those that had used this service will be great... icon_rolleyes.gif

anyway..sealants are break in to different kind of sealant again. The most common will be polymer, then followed by acrylic and so on which i can't remember. Meguairs wax some is carbauna some is sealant(usually polymer). I think what u are referring to is Zaino, these are based on acrylic. There are other brands thats sound like Zaino such as Zymol. So read properly before you purchase. here is an example

http://www.ffcobra.com/magazine/waxtest.html

When comes to acrylic, there is two brands that always comes to mind, Zaino and Klasse. There are other brands which is acrylic base as well such as jeff jerret or something. But usually when they talk about acrylic base, Zaino and Klasse will always be the main choice.

Please do correct me if my info was wrong.

Hi Bro,

Thanks for the link that show Zaino is somewhere there on the top. biggrin.gif

Perhaps you could have been mistaken with Zaino waxes. Zaino waxes are polymers based.

What polymers does?
Polymers are substances whose molecules have high molar masses and are composed of a large number of repeating units. Polymer sealant work by bonding with the car paint and not slapping something on top of the paint surface.

Can polymers be layered?
Yes. Polymer can do layering method.

We do encourage all end user to layer the car with Zaino Wax to give its best result.(recommendation: up to 3 layers of Z-2Pro or Z-5Pro).
Note: Result may be vary if the surface preparation is not properly done . Good Surface Preparation is the most important step not to be missed.

REad that sonus offers an acrylic spray to go together with the klasse sealant but its not available here nor s'pore.

Can i mix some of the sealant with water for quick spray touch up ? Some ppl do it but i'm not sure of the exact way eg. whats the proportion like.

Guys.. Planning to do the following on my car this weekend.
Wash->Clay->Polish->Wax

Correct steps?

Any polish to recommend? I sourced a few buy all seems to be Wax only.

So far saw Meguire's 3-step-deep crystal polish, and Turtle Wax Ice, or normal grade polsh like Turtle Wax F21, etc.

My car is Gold color... any recommendations?
