Anyone used Tutle Wax's PLATINUM series? They claim its like super glossy.

Even comments in US sites also said that its on par with meguire's Gold class/NXT.

i using the platinum shampoo...

and i using nxt as well...

for me, same ... only price different ...

meguiars staff claim the nxt can prevent dust from sticking to the car body...quite unbelievable ....

but in terms of wax, meguiars better

nxt wax as claimed by meguiars is a combo, wax + polish ...

already use it for 1 year, for me, after wash, clay, paint cleaner, nxt wax, i will add 1 more layer of carnauba wax

hello everybody,

i am planning to wax my father's car this week and i need some advice.

I will be using kit wax which has been collecting dust for long time already. Is that brand good? Please recommend me some brand.
The paint of the car is black metallic and 6 months old.

My procedure is wash and wax only.Is clay bay or any other step necessary?

I also noticed there are some hairline swirl on the paint, can i get rid of them by waxing the car?

Also when is the time to polish the car if I wax the car monthly?
*
yes clay is a must because it is a preparation steps ...

after clay, apply paint cleaner and then only polish ... lastly only wax

clay, paint cleaner and polish consider as paint preparation for wax and if you skip it, wax wont last long because the paint still dirty ...
