Got la, before i bought mine, i got do survey in few shop, Got one shop at sg.wang at the Famous Amos level / Baleno. the shop is in side of the way which we want go through Metrojaya. i asked the sales about the price LX3, he just say "Normal LO.... RM1499 with 2GB and pouch. But we only got silver colour. If you want black color.... come back next year la.... there is no use you continue asking in other shop.... WHOLE WORLD DON"T HAVE BLACK COLOR STOCK" Very LCLY la.... Not even want to layan me. like i got no money buy.

but after that i went to another shop, there got black and price also reasonable.

hmm..what is the price of next shop? i doubt it will take few months for the new batch of camera to reach our shores

the leather casing is expensive...97..USD.... ouch..

yea i asked one shop they told me the same thing too, only silver no more black in msia. lol.

I bought mine at Boeing, behind Voir, same level with Vincci.
Look for a tall and pimpled guy.... very professional and good service.
I bought the LX3 black with 4GB memory card, pouch, 1 extra ori battery with total RM1780
if only lx3, 4gb, pouch..... he offered me RM1550. but now i dunno la....

got 3 types


cons for me is the lens cap. little bit troublesome have to remove and put it back.
60mm is abit short but doesn't bother me much.
deleting files in the camera is extremely slow . i think it's doing bit by bit deletion. which prevent data recovery
Viewing files is abit slow also. i'm using Class 6 SDHC still slow. if u hold and press [next] button, the filenumber will skip, but the picture displayed not updated. it just skip through.

my pouch.


i still haven't bought a screen protector. dunno where can get cheap and good one.
shop will normally sell very expensive

so which pod you want? or you want to ask for all 3?

i think slow deletion of files might cz of your memory card which is Adata right? I think sandisk or toshiba should perform better. but not sure about it though..
is it hard to get the screen protector? yl's shop doesn't have it huh?
where you got your cam from? the price and package?

ask for the biggerst one SLR zoom

deletion of data supposed to be very fast regardless what speed u using.
coz it just update the FAT32 table. not really physically remove data in the card.
if it try to really delete the data. then it has to update all the space used, which is a very slow process.

YL... i dun think they have LX3
you should call and ask 1st.
the only compact cams i seen there was Ricoh, coz they are distributor for Ricoh.
Other just lens and canon nikon DSLRs.

i got from FotoEdar... RM1600 with pouch only.... but i bought it very early...now drop alot edi.

Even if you call and ask.... i don't think they will give you the best price.... coz they might think you are their competitor.... so price thing.... of course not to tell on phone la. i don;t buy much on camera thing.... but i think you can trust on boeing la.... before i see this forum.... actually got few friend already recommend me there.
