IMHO, its better to let reputable shop do the work. Less hassle, and not very expensive also (car's got promo for HSBC card holder, RM128 for polish and wax). If want to DIY, all the tools (you will need at least 3 sets of microfiber cloth, each for one process, and also 'clay') and compund (polish, wax, polymer sealent) will easily cost you RM100. Not to mention the time needed.

Once you've done all that, just need to maintain it. I've use turtle wax quick detailer for that.

Its has been a while since I last visit this CPS thread and now I think its about time to list down all my car problem.
Half of this problem already exist before my 2nd. service ask them to fix but still same.

My car is less than 3months old and has clocked at least 8000km.

1.Sqeaking noise on front Left
2.Sqeaking/Rattling noise on front low right
3.Engine Valve cover oil seapage
4.Masterpump reservoir oil seapage
5.Power steering reservoir oil seapage
6.Brake sometimes low sometimes ok( I suspect air-trap)
7.Gear engage 1,2,3 and 4 is hard. (I think related to air-trap in clutch pump since sharing with masterpump reservoir)
8.Wiper arm on right hand side got noise(klok, klok)
9.Left Wing mirror once cannot fully unfold to open
10.Sometimes central lock cannot auto open after shutting off engine
11.Front left absorber noisy on rough road
12.Wind noise over 120km/h
13.Rattling noise on dashboard and found the noise source came from the dashboard lining near the steering
14.Rear right passenger door got noise and found the door bush loose

Ops! i only hv car wash cloth, dunno also is microfiber or not? but remenber the cover state for cash wash la ...CAR's got promo ...considering....my car have one long scatch n i hv use soft 99 to clear but still if u come closer u still can see the line, r they able to remove it totally, with rm128 package?

I won't leave my car at those wax centers in shopping complexes. I don't trust them at all.

Just sit there and watch how they do it, learn.

I polished my cps late last month.... it cost me RM120 for the 3 layer polishing... the job was not perfect but the end result is marvelous...


1. Mine is on the front right... ( especially at low speed... i can hear the noise when i wind down the window.)
2. Same thing happen with my cps
8. Sometimes but usually when I use the wiper at the highest interval
10. I agree with you... the central unlocking sometimes fail to auto unlock
12. Wind noise probably attributed to 'lubang angin' fail to close properly (whistling sound)
13. Mine rattles when the speed reach 100km/h.... I'm told here it is because of engine resonance at certain rpm range...

Anyhow, my cps is already due for third service and I plan to send it after raya to CoSE.... hoping that they can fix it....

I'm going back to Temerloh early tomorrow morning (6am) and Sabah on 4th (without my cps of course)...

Guys, May i know what cert do you guys receive in order to prove that it is 5 years warranty, it been almost 5 months but i haven't receive a single thing? Should i call my SA?

woa so many problem huh...i think SC need months to solve it. lol

The cert should be stated as "Sijil Waranti Lanjutan/Extended Warranty Certificate". It contains your name and car info. Try to contact your SA.

Can i confirm here that is it every waja cps come with this extended warranty program? Or you have to pay extra for it?

Well,.. most of this problem can be done easily but if you try to tell the techs at SC... they just 1 ear in and out the other because its potong ma.
Might as well I do my own better but some of the things are hard to do or might void warranty.

Added on October 1, 2008, 11:36 am13. I know its the resonance at certain engine speed, but with idle engine ramp the throttle just the dashboard rattles.. I thought something loose in the Right hand side aircond vent.. but foundout to be the dashboard lining.. the same lining across our interior door.
Not a problem, just push it in hard and if some one's else had the same noise.. might wanna look at that area.

I just can't accept on 3,4,5 on oil/fluid seepage. I look at few cars of japanese makes 5 - 6 years old.. no oil seepage but mine new engine is like that..
