QUOTE(crapoccur @ Dec 21 2009, 04:55 PM) Go Malacca is eat only. But best pineapple tart i think is this house/shop called Bee Bee opposite the banda hilir Prison. It's an old kampung house. The best pineapple tarts I had. It is RM12 for a box of 20 (I think). http://food-4-thot.blogspot.com/2008/12/mi...-pineapple.htmlhttp://calvin-myjourney.blogspot.com/2009/...lacca-food.htmlBibik Neo has pretty good peranakan food. Liked the pai tee (must have), devil's curry, otak2, steamed lady's finger etc. http://thule-food-quest.blogspot.com/2009/...-bibik-neo.html

Tried the food at Heritage. Don't find it tasty. Perhaps we ordered the wrong food.

My last visit was about 1 years ago....I'm searching good boutique hotel on 30th. My recent survey : Courtyard @ Heeren : Already full booked. Hotel Puri : Full booked Any other decent boutique hotel? Don't suggest me The Majestic since I'm already there 1 year ago.

I bought some from LW Pineapple Tarts (that one with many outlets, and the GIANT pineapple tart), and some from Donald & Lily's, but both also not nice. Last time Madam Goh's version also terrible. Nyonya food at a rather new (I think) restaurant named Cottage Spices at Plaza Mahkota there is okay, but I think rather pricey. But then again, MOST Nyonya restaurants also pricey. Save for those Donald & lily's and Nancy's Kitchen. Melaka - Nyonya Food, Nadeje's Mille Crepe, Tengkera Nyonya Kuih

I took one spoonful and that's it. The Mee Siam very sour. But hey, the cendol ok woh this time around. Surprisingly. Maybe i like sago a lot. Jonker 88 last time also didnt manage to impress much. I still like Penang Road cendol loh.
