Thera is a standard option how to make your front clock bigger but you have to disable the standby application under the device option... but no longer shortcut apps in our screen.

To sacrifice the shortcuts is too much...i'm beginning to feel need to use GDesk, but kinda stupid if I only want to have a bigger clock.

Just upgrade the quickoffice to the version provided in 1st page, but there is a problem, any files created either .doc or .txt in file manager, it can't be open or deleted.. it will be an error display. But if I view the same file from the quickoffice itself it can be read. This is the 2nd time happend and I reflash the FW again, upgrade the quickoffice but the problem occured again. Is this the bug with the new version?

last time i face the same problem like you and the quickoffice will crash.
that's y now i'm using Document To Go which i found is better.

So do i need to pay for the Garmin XT 5.00(0) software?

try checking dotsis or ipmart(more likely) to get the ahemed version.

I got a Sony Ericsson P1i where I've configured Time & date, but when I receive sms, it comes with different time.

try using garmin 4.10.80 or 4.2.20, cos with Garmin XT 5.00 I foresee no end to your cra.cking problems / questions.

Anyway there is a lot of mixed reviews about it to say the least. A lot of the new features will crash your phone easily.

Check out the first page for an article on the P1i's pros and cons, features, etc. Then if you have more specific questions, do post them.

Thanks for the reply, just reflashed my fw again without upgrade the quickoffice to the latest version (i had it enough with error of opening doc file in file manager), installed document to go but it return back quickoffice as docs viewer after restarting the phone which at first document to go is a default viewer. Never mind lah, older quickoffice also can use also as long it does not caused any error while viewing it.

If not mistaken, u need to do it at the setup wizard. Control panel-other-setup wizard. Then yr time will be the same.

anyone watch .mp4 video format on P1i? its lag when i watch using the standard player.

Hey. Thanks for the info. Still confusing whether to buy a holux and pair it up or a garmin nuvi 200w instead.

if you have money please get the nuvi 200w. The only advantage to using your P1i against a dedicated navigator I can see is if you somehow use it for walking, then you might not want to carry a 3-4" device looking like a tourist.

the other advantage I can think of is if you plan to pair with things like notebook or other PDA's in the future, then maybe you want to have just a receiver.
