if you have money please get the nuvi 200w. The only advantage to using your P1i against a dedicated navigator I can see is if you somehow use it for walking, then you might not want to carry a 3-4" device looking like a tourist.

the other advantage I can think of is if you plan to pair with things like notebook or other PDA's in the future, then maybe you want to have just a receiver.

But i thought if i have the garmin software and paired up with a holux, it's function is almost the same with the nuvi?

the nuvi has a much bigger screen that will be a lot easier use for drivers.

For my P1i and I've seen similar occurence in youtube for other phones, Garmin XT can easily crash, so you will be frustrated.

If not mistaken, u need to do it at the setup wizard. Control panel-other-setup wizard. Then yr time will be the same.

Use coreplayer or power movie that can be found on page one.. I prefer coreplayer..
