I need some help here...whenever i try to install some applications, it says "cannot read jar/jad file". what is that?how to solve this issue?thanks

does this happen to all the jar file that you try to install?
u install using pc suite?

almost everytime. i can never completed my installation..yes i'm using pc suite

try this instead.
copy those installer file to either your phone memory or memory card.
then from your phone, go to file manager, find the installer file and install it.

Yes, you need internet access to view those maps. Either GPRS/WiFi is ok~

You can locate where you are once you're connected. I'm using it, not bad~

where the file?

Your file that you are going to install, save it into your device first and run it from there.

First, copy the jar file from your pc to the memory card.
After that open up your file manager and go to your memory card.
Next, find the jar file that you copy earlier and click on it and if everything is ok, the installation will start.

sad to say i sent my phone for checking this afternoon. reason?cant detect memory card and keep restarting after switch off. hmm...barely a month old already warded. luckily i bought an ori piece. shoul be getting back within a week.

Mind to tell us what really happened before your set goes corrupted? was it caused by modding or improper firmware upgrading?

the only firmware i ever tried to install was opera mini but incomplete due to jar file issue. i think the real cause was my phone accidently dropped on cement surface before raya. it was a real bad fall.

guess it must be hardware issue rather than firmware. Even if you screw up with the modding, the most you need to do is reflash the firmware.

Not yet till this moment. If not mistaken, u can assign shortcut key for the iphone lock. its still faster then.

erm, u can assign into one of d small icon on standy. den click it. it works for me tho. haha.
and u can tweak d time b4 it activate. refer to pg1 for d .ini file. cz im quite particular bout it also, cz can suddenly make call fr ur pocket. ahaha
or jz hold d "back" button on d side of p1 to activate d default lock.

I am using XPlore to manage the file, is it normal whenever we open Xplore the screen brightness will increase? anybody noticed this. However it will back to normal setting after we let it run after awhile.
