My Hitachi inverter 1HP is also quite noisy when at full fan speed, is as noisy as York!

Normally I will run at the max FAN speed for 1 hours to cool down the room, then before sleep, just turn on the sleep timer, the fan speed will go down to min speed and it is pretty quiet, but sometimes it still have some high frequency sound for a few minutes, quite irritating.
*
So due to bad quality for hitachi product, i wont support it again, even buy York Y-Series Inverter still better than Hitachi like shit. rclxms.gif

Plan to install Mitsubishi 2.5hp aircond.
Any one know what the size for the piping??
*
If you wanna install non-inverter 2.5hp don't go wrong, cause the huge size of condenser outdoor can easily vibration of your front door frame,
If the case is just hang up the top of door.

I can suggest install this model mitsubishi startmex inverter 2.5hp, for the set is around Rm2700~2900 sorry I'm forget already the actual price for without installed.

The electric bill is only cost you around same as 1.5hp non-inverter Aircon monthly Bill or less.
The R410a gas an inverter control is really make your living hall cooling & efficient.
Most of time you only need set to 25C or higher temp. Cause it is really feels comfort & quiet with easiy clean to access to fan blower.

Quick check, what is the differences between Mitshubishi Mr. Slim vs Mitshubishi Heavy Duty?

I have checked around, some said Mr. Slim is better but some said Heavy Duty is better. Kinda confused withi these two...
*
Mitsubishi Mr. Slim for non-inverter type and easy clean model
Mitsubishi Startmex for inverter type and easy clean model
Mitsubishi Heavy Duty non/inverter, just like York, panasonic, Daikin without easy clean.

so you prefer which one? rclxms.gif

You may have kept the coils clean but you are only restricting the air flow thereby reducing the efficiency of your Aircon.

It's like having a dirty filter all the time....
*
Once you feel the air flow won't be much stronger and remove the air filter to be replace a new or reused with after wash the filter to be reused back. That is what I doing that.

The works also same like the car inside of air cond filter and hide inside of below dashboard.

The solution you can kept clean on the coils and also lesses the water piping become stick more like Jerry and water leakage from the aircond drain.

From what I installed my aircond since is already had used 3 years long, but never ask the aircond service come to remove the whole fan coils for use tap water and flush with water on the aluminum coils else.

The solution to be kept clean on every each coils may good on air can be blowing out and like after wash the coils as a brand new aircond all the times.

Regarding the reducing of the airflow it is won't effect any issue of that. Unless your aircond type is non-inverter. Even without used air filter had already feels uncool at all.

I will effect the only cut down the cost of calling repairs Aircond servicing and aircond company.
Cause I not need them but my aircond still running like new.
Unless is no power or outdoor condenser already fully block by dust...
If on the outdoor unit had fully dust blocking and the unit you can touch it, you also can used some soften Brush to be clean out. Just becareful on the alum. coils do not bending only.

Some tip here, just becauseful when use tap water to be flush on outdoor on inverter type.
Because on the top panel had PCB and controller on indoor unit.
Do not flush direct on the alum. coils, unless you remove the whole unit down on the floor and slowly flushing on water only.

The rest you can use soft brush to be wipe or brushing out.
You also can operate when wanna do as brush the coils. Cause most of the dirty dust can be exhaust out much easier.

Eh sorry everyone.
I just checked with my contractor.
he said the my inverter pipe can use for 2.0HP and 2.5HP aircon.
but if goes to 3.0HP then must use diff thickness.

if 1.0 and 1.5HP then can share the same..
any thoughts?
*
You can check the catolog before you install.

1hp on 6 & 9mm dia.
Some 1.5hp same as 1hp
2hp on 6mm & 12mm dia or 1.5hp same as 2hp
2.5hp should be use more bigger size on 9mm & 15.6mm cooper pipe.

Bigger to smaller should not an issue.
If smaller to bigger cooper pipe will be effect the compressor life.

This time is for real.
In case you are not aware of ringgit depreciation against USD and renminbi.
In jun, ringgit was rm3 to usd1. Now rm3.30 to usd1. Up 10%.
Mitsubishi AC are imported from Thailand and traded in USD. In jun importer paid rm2k, now have to pay rm2.2k for the same USD.
Renminbi was 49sen in jun and now 55 sen for 1 renminbi.  sweat.gif  Almost every thing we use are made in China.

aircond unit not increased price, but transportation increase on shipping in logistics fee to be everything price when up.. cry.gif

Last month asking is without install for Rm1450 with install = Rm1750.

But monthly you can save around Rm80-150 per unit of TNB bill.

From the study in the below paper, R22 is more superior than R410A, the only problem is R22 not "green" gas which will be phased out completely by year 2030.

http://fire.nist.gov/bfrlpubs/build02/PDF/b02186.pdf
*
On paper maybe yes.
If you compare side by and you will get the R410a result as more faster cooling and more power energy saving.

R22 temp have to use 25 degree and below.
For R410a only need 25 degree and above.

I don't think I can agree with you as so many researches and studies that proved R22 is more superior in term of performance, stable and end user friendly!

One more article as below:
http://www.yaunco.com/faq/faqr410avsr22.html
*
If you're the user then you will realised what I meant.

Cause I got my experience from R22 inverter changed to R410a inverter within a year..

today the aircond installer come and have a look at my living room layout to decide the best place to place it..
my aircond is panasonic 1.5hp inverter..

he charge me RM18 per feet for that inverter host..is the reasonable?
in total he said need 30 feet from my aircond to the compressor which i plan to place outside of my house..

so total for inverter host alone rm18x30 feet = rm540...  rclxub.gif

No more cheapest again.

After petrol price when up 20 cent issue.
