Guys,

What do you think of this Samsung Maldives 1.0hp Inverter Aircon.

http://www.samsung.com/my/consumer/home-ap...V10PSPNXEA-spec

Personally, I have used a 1.5hp Samsung Maldives 1.5hp inverter ... I think its pretty good - very nice air filter captures lots of air borne dust.

Regards,

hihi ~~ I got sell all brand aircond. for aircond inverter series i advise you to take daikin,
only daikin can use R22 gas, which cheaper when installation, service and future maintenance,
coz others inverter air cond must use 410A gas.
only daikin can use R22 gas.
same can save more than 40%.
410A is for environmental, but using aircond actually is not saving environment tongue.gif
anyone interesting please contact me 0149227692 / 0162601773

hey guys, portable aircond, Ok or not ? the ones without hot air hose. I takut not cold, or use too much power. the room is 16x17 feet.
*
hihi ! regarding you say the portable without hot air sure is not aircond, that is called air cooler.
coz aircond that got compressor sure got hot air one.
air cooler electric consumption is just like normal fan.
but is not good for health, becoz it's like spraying water on yourself.
you need put water / refill water inside everyday and day.

portable aircond electric consumption as normal air cond only,
need piping thru window. easy movable biggrin.gif
anything can contact me Elizabeth 0149227692 / 0162601773

I have done a search but the answer from the forum is inconclusive. Maybe some expert air con installers can advise.

I wish to put aircon for my apartment. The original developer didn't give piping. The main problem is, there are a lot of beams and columns. Can we punch through the beam? Some people say yes, some people say no. Some people say you need to do coring, some people say cannot pecah the rebar, some people say cannot hack.

I'm hoping some expert air con installers with experience can advise. My management has no guidelines regarding this.

Better not punch beam...later house come down on you....you know lar...Malaysia construction mostly all low-quality (thanks to 50 years of BN corruption culture) and 'tou kung kam liu'(reduce the good quality material).....

I know, but my options are very limited. My windows reach all the way up to the level of the beam.

Hi,

You got no choice, either you do coring (but not recommeded especially for aprt cause this will effect entire block) or you need to sacrify install the copper piping below your beam level.

I'm looking for the old Daikin FTKD25DVM, as the FTKD25GVM that replaced it (AND is more expensive) seems to be a downgrade, losing the room sensor to raise the temperature when no one is around. Basically they removed the Panasonic Econavi feature and want to charge more for the model without! Or maybe someone can enlighten me and explain why I should get that one instead?

The GVM model seems to be only for countries like Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand... DVM is reserved for Singapore etc.

Can anyone still get the better model, or am I screwed?

I plan to to install a 2.5HP air-cond in my living hall.

Any recommendation for which brand vs performance price is okay ?

Currently thinking for York/Samsung...
