QUOTE(yiraiya5185 @ Dec 4 2012, 07:50 PM) Thanks for the info bro! I went to some shops they are promoting panasonic. Somewhere in the forum ppl mentioned that panasonic is no good. York and acson are a bit noisy. I think all this depends on luck as well and the contractor who install them la. Hehehe. Will take a look at toshiba, don't know they have mini cassette. Then will compare with hitachi and see which is better. I really need some feedback and recommendation on which model and brand to go with. Hi, Im selling Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and also York. I do recommend Daikin as is a really good unit. Regards, Pang CF

In my opinion is very hard to compare so..As both also product from Japan is just like comparing Toyota and Honda.
But for inverter unit there is slightly different between this two brand. Daikin Inverter can use refrigerant R22 while for Pana is using R410a. This will cause the installation cost higher and refrigerant R410a is more expensive.
If you are just replacing your existing unit from non-inverter to inverter unit without replacing copper piping than you can't choose panasonic.
Just for sharing, do correct me if im wrong.
Regards, Pang

QUOTE(rocklee88 @ Nov 29 2012, 11:10 PM) May I know is it better to install inverter or non-inverter type of air-conds in a new house? Also, the air-conds piping are all done up by the developer. But, how do I know what type of piping they use, that is, whether suitable for inverter cir cond or not? I read that Panasonic inverter air cond use different piping. Does that mean we cannot simply buy this type of air conds unless we are sure the piping are compatible? Sorry for the amatuerish questions. Thanks Definately if you have budget then is much better go for inverter unit. As for the piping if you are using Refrigerant R-22 type unit you no need replace the copper piping. You can try Daikin as is operating using R-22.

Is this a fact or there is something not right about it ie. installation problem. It is worth getting the Inverter vs the non-inverter one? Hi, Very hard to judge by not cold. Is it the air coming out from the unit totally not cold at all? This maybe unit having problem. OR the room was not cold enough? This might due to capacity install is under size or installation problem.... If you dont mind please provide your room size (sq feet) and air-cond model. QUOTE(achor @ Jan 23 2013, 10:11 PM) Need small help from all.. can anyone tell me if these piping/wiring able to support Pana inverter aircond? Each has 2 set of copper - small & big. TQ. Hi, This is from developer? You are looking for how many HP air-cond? Actually is hard to tell from the picture as the different between Inverter R22 and Inverter R410a only the thickness of the copper piping. The diameter is still the same. QUOTE(King2ndGenX @ Jan 28 2013, 07:49 AM) Hi there, any sifu can advise about 1hp inverter? I'm using it in a small room every night! Most concern about the power consumption, considering daikin, Pana, mitsu now. I don't mind to pay higher if it can save my bill.=) Definitely it help to save ur electricity if you choose inverter series.

Hi, You got no choice, either you do coring (but not recommeded especially for aprt cause this will effect entire block) or you need to sacrify install the copper piping below your beam level.
