Let's see how the filter performs...

You've bought PureGen water filter - using sand media or UF (membrane) type??
Appreciate your valuable feed back on this filter.

I bought sand type...really confuse
one person says this n another one
says that. What I need is a economic filter can
fo the work of filtering n comes out
with good quality water for bathing n
washing. For drinking, I bought another
Panasonic filter which I will boil b4 drinking.
As long as it is not RO water...it's fine.

I used to thought Fibre Filters are durable and could last for a long time. However, one of the members jus shared this photo with me.

Im just curious for those who are using filter like 3M that does not indicate when you are suppose to replace your filter. Is there anyway for you to track how many gallons/liters of water that your filter has been "cleaning" around?

Was thinking whether I should install a water meter to at least know where to replace the water filter tongue.gif

Outside filter, the water pressure will drop. Till maybe you can't take it change loh.

Inside, it supply with an external timer. You can start it when you start using the filter. It will beeb after reach countdown. Maybe I year i guess.

I see, then i guess outdoor one is not an issue as we will notice it once the water pressure is too low for us to use.

As for the indoor unit, I am taking the AP Easy Complete with SQC Sediment Pre-Filter which doesn't have any countdown timer sad.gif

AFAIK, only 2 faucet water filter has built in water flow meter indicating how many liters had been filtered, Amway's and Philip. IMO, this is very important because a filter that has long past it's replace-by date is worst than having no filter at all.

What do you mean your sink built in? Where does the water tap come out from? Surely can drill, even on tiled concrete top can drill. I got Unity Kitchen to come back to drill a hole in the already installed quartz top. They were very obliging.

Kamion..the sink unit I bought has no wing on the side...and I did concrete tabletop, didn't wanna drill anywhere in case it affects the structure of the top

Nope, no turn at all. Just filter smile.gif . I check with 3M sales person, and he said that I have to write down the date that I changed the filter and roughly have to replace it after 1 year (depend on number of persons using it).

Hi guys,

If my water pipe is concealed in the wall where my sink tap is wall mounted, how to install an indoor water filter?
