What do you mean your sink built in? Where does the water tap come out from? Surely can drill, even on tiled concrete top can drill. I got Unity Kitchen to come back to drill a hole in the already installed quartz top. They were very obliging.

Yeppp looking for one too, but may go
for pentair instead. A bit cheaper.
The authorized distributor is crystalwater
for both brands. Perhaps can get better price for
2 customers wink.gif

This design is similar to Coway but it is using UF Alkaline system while Coway's 1 is RO filter. Therefore, there is no dirty water to be discharged, no wastage.

Facts from Wikipedia
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reverse_osmosis
Household reverse osmosis units use a lot of water because they have low back pressure. As a result, they recover only 5 to 15 percent of the water entering the system. The remainder is discharged as waste water. Because waste water carries with it the rejected contaminants, methods to recover this water are not practical for household systems. Wastewater is typically connected to the house drains and will add to the load on the household septic system. An RO unit delivering 5 gallons of treated water per day may discharge 40 to 90 gallons of wastewater per day

You've bought PureGen water filter - using sand media or UF (membrane) type??
Appreciate your valuable feed back on this filter.

I bought sand type...really confuse
one person says this n another one
says that. What I need is a economic filter can
fo the work of filtering n comes out
with good quality water for bathing n
washing. For drinking, I bought another
Panasonic filter which I will boil b4 drinking.
As long as it is not RO water...it's fine.

I used to thought Fibre Filters are durable and could last for a long time. However, one of the members jus shared this photo with me.

Im just curious for those who are using filter like 3M that does not indicate when you are suppose to replace your filter. Is there anyway for you to track how many gallons/liters of water that your filter has been "cleaning" around?

Was thinking whether I should install a water meter to at least know where to replace the water filter tongue.gif

Outside filter, the water pressure will drop. Till maybe you can't take it change loh.

Inside, it supply with an external timer. You can start it when you start using the filter. It will beeb after reach countdown. Maybe I year i guess.
