Hi... I didn't go for R-VG660P3M and got R-VG710P3M instead, my wife want a BIG fridge. 
Most of the shop offer around RM2500 (plus/minus) for R-VG660P3M, I managed to get R-VG710P3M with RM2600.
I got my Hitachi fridge in yesterday afternoon and start to use it in yesterday night. 
From my observation, it is quite noisy when fully pick up (around 60dB) if compare to my mum's old Toshiba fridge . 
FYI, I using the software "sound meter lite" with my Android to track the sound level, I do not have sound level meter. 



Also, you can refer to another feedback shared by sovietmah in post #1167 for his fridge R-V750PM. The sound level stay constant around 60db.

i quoted some shops, black color is much more exp than grey color. RM2600 really good deal.

I am lucky to find one of the retail shop selling this fridge much cheaper than other seller, they told me that last month there was promotion for Hitachi product.

Most of the buyer (including myself) not believe with the price they offer, most probably they are selling this fridge that get from grey market. Later they said their company want to hit the sales target before end of March (also end of financial year in Japan) and therefore selling it much cheaper than other seller. It's not from the grey market and we shall get warranty from Hitachi Sales (Malaysia).

Smaller shops that don't keep stocks will be a good place to start. Still have to do survey.
Some shops offer you cheap price but have to carry back your self. So have to ask properly on everything.
Like you buy a Panasonic fridge, most of the shops are selling at rm2000, then suddenly a shop selling it for rm1600, sure got something wrong. Like transportation fees not included.

i searched at ss2, all almost same price.

wondering if anywhere sells cheaper.

went to ss2 again to check on fridge prices, the price that i got was different from last month, with an increase about rm200.

they all say fridge prices increase last month.
