Four words about "The Force Awakens" - It's so darn good!
What a way to both introduce the Star Wars Universe to a new generation of fans (the second generation onwards, of the people who watched the original trilogy in the early 80s), as well as for the old characters to pass the baton to the young guns who will carry the flag into Episodes 8, 9, and beyond. Rey, Finn, Poe, and BB-8 will definitely be having more battles against the villains led by the menacing Supreme Leader Snoke and his apprentice Kylo Ren in the coming two movies!
Of course, that scene which shows one of the legendary characters getting killed was one hell of a shocker!

Disney said Sunday that Star Wars: The Force Awakens broke the $1 billion mark around the world faster than any other film in history. The sci-fi adventure movie reached the milestone 12 days after its global release. That is one day earlier than the previous record holder -- Universal's "Jurassic World," which was released earlier this year. The seventh film in the "Star Wars" saga has made $544.5 million in the U.S.

I'm known as the "Millennium Falcon" over in Google Plus and posted an article about this amazing milestone - and this is considering that Star Wars: The Force Awakens has not even made it to China yet... Whereas previous record holder Jurassic World hit the $1b mark thanks to the release of the film of the Chinese market!
for me GL always good if he dont have money..i mean smaller budget, working in limitation..cuz he is one hell of a storyteller..interested if he do something indie..maybe smaller project like American Graffiti..simple, clean, short..
btw..do you guys open for GL to direct another Star Wars movie..maybe one of the anthology/story in the future?

George is more into the story telling & the technical aspects. His forte isn't into or with the actors. Kinda expects them to do their thing, into their zone like a on off switch.
Some actors could, not all. If he wasn't 'rushed' or has time, he can do stuffs. I know there also was a director (forgot his name). But his movies takes a long time to film. Good visionaire but Brad Pitt did say it was too exhausting.

MF is a VERY VERY old ship. It's used by the famous scoundrel smuggler, Han Solo. Ya think he and a shit load of other people won't be constantly tracking it? lol
rethink that logic with Han losing his ship to some thief/thieves
the sad thing is after watching this TFA, its clear that JJ can make a good movie if they follow legends
not much toys/branding to sell though....
True, and thanks to the introduction of new characters to complement the legendary ones, look at the amount of merchandise that we can see in the local Toys R Us or Hamley's stores - whether made by Hasbro, Hot Wheels, Lego, or some other manufacturer.
We now see icons like R2-D2, Han Solo, and the Millennium Falcon being displayed together with Kylo Ren's Lightsaber, the (really cool) black X-Wing piloted by Poe Dameron, and a BB-8 model, for instance!
however even if I see the show I will be as confused as them so I better ask your opinion - this Rey girl - is she Luke's daughter or Han Solo's other child or somebody else only to be known in movie 8?
This movie didn't tell us clearly, but it dropped hints throughout, so will have to wait until future episodes to find out
there was a scene where this Ren girl was a toddler and she was screaming looking at a ship leaving the sky - she was restrained by someone - who do you think that someone who was holding her back and who were in that ship flying off - It looked like the Millenium Falcon no?
No idea, didn't showed the face of that person (probably the guy she sell the junks to at the start of the movie), and no, that's definitely not the Millennium Falcon

JJ Abrams likes to leave clues.
Remember this scene?
Similarities in E7?
During that scene I was hoping Luke would appear and kick the villain's arse, but nope
It was the babe

20:32 - Face me cousin!
No confirmation yet from Disney.
But it's another hint; Kylo is Solo's and Leia's son whilst Rey is Luke's daughter.
Rey as Luke's daughter is more likely.
If she's Han-Solo other daughter, then her mother (other than Leia) must be a Jedi.
Unlikely for Han to have another lover other than Leia.

I need to rewatch that again.
That scene when Rey was a little girl, was in Jakku?
Unlikely to be the Falcon because the Falcon is in Jakku...#garbage remember?

Some theories mentioned about Rey being Luke Skywalker's daughter, which explains how she gradually embraced the Force throughout "The Force Awakens". And there are others saying that Rey is actually Han Solo and Leia Organa's daughter but whichever scenario is true, this will still make her a relative of the main villain, Kylo Ren (either as cousin or sister - since Ren is Han's son)!
Anyway, like what everyone else will do, I'll just sit back and wait until Episode 8 comes out in 2017!
