I need to rewatch that again.

That scene when Rey was a little girl, was in Jakku?

Unlikely to be the Falcon because the Falcon is in Jakku...#garbage remember? happy.gif

*
I read online the person/alien creature that was holding on to young Rey (who was crying) when she was abandoned is suppose to be unkar putt (simon pegg)

The ship flew away as Rey cried is pretty much a correllian class space craft but it's not the millennium falcon

And continued that coolness, albeit a lot grumpier at the same time, in Indiana Jones and James Bond vs. a bunch of Alien scum, AKA Cowboys & Aliens! laugh.gif

ATMOS D-BOX sound and visual quality is so darn good, especially when watching a movie like "The Force Awakens", but too bad I'm working today! sad.gif

Watched it again in Atmos D-Box last Friday.

The picture clarity, the Atmos sound, and of course, the D-Box seats makes the price of the ticket worth every cent! Every laser blast from the blaster, every swing of the light-saber, every ship that takes off/arrives; D-Box provides the equivalent feedback! Especially the chase scenes and the first time Poe takes off in that Tie Fighter sweat.gif Incredible.

Compared to IMAX 3D, Atmos D-Box gives you a way more enhanced movie experience. More viewing space, as in the subtitles are not obtrusive compared to IMAX 3D's ridiculous 40% of the screen covered in subtitles. You also get pristine quality images, even if you sit closer to the screen compared to the pixelated IMAX.

Second viewing experience of TFA was well worth it. The first time, it was an assault on the senses; visuals, sounds and the anticipation of certain scenes. Now that they are out of the way (well sorta..), second viewing made me notice a lot finer details, the Rey forceback visions, etc. and with the knowledge of the easter eggs, makes it an even more enjoyable experience. And what better way to experience this than in glorious Atmos D-Box.

I've seen two of the (possibly) best film to utilize D-Box thus far; Mad Max Fury Road and this. thumbup.gif

Dont forget the fugitive.

He's pretty grumpy in real life as seen from interviews on youtube. Prolly cause of old age. But he still has his charms. Being grumpy is his charm. Lol.

How was the sound system and visual quality? Must be darn good eh, mate? laugh.gif

And too bad GSCinemas Paradigm doesn't have this D-Box - I watched the movie in the "usual" Dolby sound, albeit in the biggest hall of the cineplex! thumbup.gif

Wow, now you're making me want to take my wife to watch The Force Awakens in the local D-Box ATMOS hall in 1 Utama. She hasn't watched TFA yet and I intend to let her enjoy the latest movie of the Star Wars series (my wife isn't exactly a Star Wars fan, btw)! tongue.gif

Let's hope I can get a nice seat when I book the tickets later today! rclxms.gif

No it's actually the largest hall at GSC 1U, but in the hall only those 30 seats are D-box, the rest are normal seats.

Demit, all this hype on Atmos D-Box makes me want trigger a trip to KL. Watched it at D-Box GV Bishan, Singapore last week since its the closest D-Box experience I can afford and feeling a little meh. The seat is so far back from the screen I barely see any details although not that I need to see it since its my 3rd viewing. But still its those little things make the viewing more enjoyable. So far, feedback on this Star Wars Atmos D-Box is overwhelming and I almost can't help but to try make an effort to come down to KL only for this.

overall money well spent.

it was hall 3 in 1U. the 3 rows of D-BOX are the last 3 rows the hall. i picked the 2nd row, not knowing the arrangement beforehand.

IMO that 3 rows of D-BOX are bad placement. should be 4-5 rows closer to the screen, i think i hear sound lands there, cant really hear the surround effects sitting at the back of the hall.

motion wise yeah its something interesting. only for big action movies like this.

If this movie becomes a huge hit in China, imagine the next one that has Donnie Yen in it.

Donnie Yen and Jiang Wen, two really HUGE Chinese movie stars - this will definitely propel "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" into Hyperdrive, come 2016! laugh.gif
