its been established in the universe of 'star wars fan base'. in any case why would the driods info to be an advantage to the rebels when the rise of the empire is set/known & the deception of emperor palpatine.
furthermore removing knowledge/data from the driods will ensure the safe & hidden existence of the twins. of course some might say why not destroy the driods instead? rebels arent sinister like the empire where only those who succumbs can serve under the empire.

in any case, must be lucas prerogative right, since its his story?

it would be good if star wars is reinmagined (without Lucas being overly bearing but trust younger writers to script his star wars for todays audience)

nontheless star wars is still the best thing ever to have happened to hollywood.

yeah, maybe get Lucas to milk the SW with the ewoks, so that he could let someone make a gritty post SW or whatever.


my favourite is still THe Empire Strikes Back, that probably made the least money (guessing) amongst SW saga. (there why cant more adult people go to movies)

BUt i still habour the hope that he (lucas) will one dark turn the dark side. but the returns wont be enough for the executives to okay finance such a Film project. TV series, less risk which is why BSG did have some favourable ratings.
Movies? see 'Twilight' & the saga. movies arent for the adult audience (bar slightly more adult themed one off such as shutter island & Inception)

BSG then is lame by todays standard but then it was finking awesome. yeah starbuck!


i wonder if they would do a 'Buck Rogers' in the same gritty mould like Galatica?

the birth of the sith lords will be an interest saga

it will be interesting though comparisons with ST will be inevitable

different anakin (older), diferent obi wan (alec guiness), yoda (puppet, not animated)

If the far right resembles obi wan (Alex Guinness) then the photo before it seems like a scene in SW-revenge of the sith /anakin skywalker (Hayden Christensen).

I think those pictures are just references materials. Maybe.

I think the millennium falcon is a sure bet to be carried forward into the new Star Wars continuity (or perhaps a new trilogy) weather it continues to be a bit part or integral ship/cruiser in this new SWs is to be seen.

Also it would be interesting if C3PO & R2D2 plays a part too. Remember only the droids appear in all Star Wars movies. (Something to do with it was suppose to be (All SW stories) told be from the the 2 drioids.

Guess so but i guess Star Wars VII will be 20-30+ years after return of the Jedi and they won't use the Star Wars Legends Expanded Universe tengent.

i) suppose to be 30 years after return of Jedi (defeated the empire), appears the empire is there with new stormtroopers, the rebellion X wings are still there, so is the tie fighters.

ii) there is a new sith with new type light saber. First impression,... Well I still prefer darthmaul's saber. But this is SW force awakens. Ok

iii) more astromech droids !

iv) realistic rendering of rebels n empire ships (good thing)

v) John boyega character, hmm on the good side or bad? (Stormtrooper suit)

vi) daisy ridrey - yum yum that's her right on the speeder? Hans solo & Princess Leia dotter?

Or John Boyega (dunno his screen name yet) could be under disguise. He and diasy Ridley amongst the lead characters.

The unknown sith/Jedi in robe, I like the way he draws the light saber, very gunslinger quick. It shows someone who is well verse with the Jedi. (I think) not much have been revealed of adam driver, though some reports suggest him as Jedi hunter (or bounty?)

A rumour of the movie is suppose to be looking for master luke, who well apparently his severed Jedi hand and light saber was found! (Just some reports)

Agree with the padme looking (daisy), like princess leia/padme before, she exhibits the traits of gusty gal. She has a screen name probably named as "Kira". BUT maybe not as Hans & Princess Leia offspring.

I think they (Hans & leia) never got married, or at least maybe no offspring. Lucas did say it will be a new story, much different than what has spawned so I take the offspring story angle with a pinch of salt

The on steroids wall-e droid like could be just to throw fans off. Our beloved r2 n 3po is attach to reappear. Good to know they hired arden fans (who made a incredible copy of r2 in one of those public Star Wars convention) to join the set up.
