I actually liked it, despite all its flaws (unneccessay side characters, hurried plot, recycling of ideas the list goes on). This is arguably the most fan service driven entry of the new trilogy, and probably would please most fans and fans alike. If you go in expecting an Empire Strikes Back kind of twist and story, I'm sorry to say you'll be disappointed, but if you're the kind that likes the been there done that kind of old school star wars drama, you'll love it.

Yay finished.
Dont expect it mega mega but rather as fan service movie. I think 9 has wrapped it up nicely and hope no more plan for the 10th. |

The end story is not perfect. But for a person who live through his childhood with star wars legacy, this is a fitting end.
Its like after party celebration for rotj. What ever happer after, usually come with games, comic, novel, tv series. They need to expand, thats how lucas make lotsa money. You just cant answer or satisfy everyone in movie alone. Thats why, last time, expanded universe existed. |
