QUOTE(tebong @ Jul 23 2008, 02:20 PM) i dont know if those guys u are suppose to ask. Instead, i got a friend from tm in the networking stuff telling routers on malaysia borders are getting very high utilization around 90-95%. links are so congested. still trying to divide the traffic to other routes. the network guys do know that running links at near full capacity is a bad idea, leading to packet losses and the like blame the management i say QUOTE(Ihsengale @ Jul 23 2008, 07:55 PM) i got similar problem - the line stops responding after like 20 minute - then resume after 10 seconds - then stop again after 15-20minute. yes i can confirm this problem too

TM suddenly exchange my port as I know I can connect to 218, 219, 60.48 & 60.50 but only connect to 118.100, 118.101 & 124.13 only... so I called them and change back to my old port. btw, 118.100 is a good ip too

Here's something I've noticed...
-My internet slowed down (by half) the last few days (512kpbs instead of 1mbps) -Tmnut speedometer non-functional (offline it seems)
Coincidence? I dont think so... a day before, it was working fine (yea i checked because i felt my bandwidth was choking)

It's been 16 days and things getting worse. I keep getting no signal every 10 minutes.
Old Klang Road.
One thing i suggest when calling the Help Centre is telling them "most of my friends are facing the same problem and if you don't solve the problem soon we will ALL Unsubscribe to your service and go to xxx".

QUOTE(marine88 @ Jul 26 2008, 10:59 PM) Well i know that TMnut speedometer is BIASED a long time ago. Just getting a second opinion (though it's not that trustworthy). My first check was speedtest.net which i gotten a 400+kbps download and a 110+kbps upload. Well dropping to 512kbps shouldnt be that bad as I was using 512 when screamyx first came out. It was definitely not as bad as now. It's as if they reduced the number of international connections a user is able to connect to... Every site I load is taking a longer time than usual to load

Im from Old Klang Road too n yeps, im also experiencing the same problem. exactly every 10 minutes the line chokes, but not disconnected. after arnd 30 seconds things get well like normal but 10 mins after that the cycle repeats. called streamyx hotline just now and the technician confirms that this is due to tmnet performing system maintenance. this is expected to go on until 2nd august. can we ask rebate for this?
