is it a lot ppl get 118 and 124 ip because i can only get this nowadays compare to last time i can get 218,228,219 and 60.48.... because 118 and 124 got very bad ping to everything....

my streamyx for internation website slow like hell....i ping yahoo.com 500 ping....i ping lowyat.net only 12 ping.....wtf???

it depends on ur area..
if tmnut set ur ip range should be between 118.* and 124.*, u can't get beyond that..
they can change the IP settings anytime, and you can never complain against them because, we're using DYNAMIC IP.
I tried to complain already but it's useless ...

ya download things arent affected but surfing/disconnections is always there

Im playing @ Taiwan, Singpore, China, Hong Kong and even United Kingdom's servers using 124 IP

i just called their Streamyx CS.

it was an announcement there, about some upgrading interruption in Sabah emm few more location

but then i talk with a guy, he seem like technician not helpdesk.
told me that, since 10th July they are upgrading and line services or something
It will last until 31st July (until next month)
Kedah, Perak were affected.

Well THAT explains why I'm ALWAYS not connecting to Screamyx servers at 7pm EVERY SINGLE DAY since 10th July....

my connection just recovered at the time of this posting.

It's kinda stupid that they're doing such things behind our backs without explaining anything to us.

I've complained to them last thursday and it was fixed the following day...
then came the dreaded saturday where the whole malaysia got cut off from the internet...
sunday, 7pm, disconnection begins yet again.

I called them back on monday to open up my report, some guy who can hardly speak english picks up and does nothing.
IF they could fix my problem before, why cant they do it again?!
During that call, i was put on hold for about 2~3 minutes (probably talking to his supervisor on how to cover up what they're doing)

Today(Tuesday) it happened again. I was really pissed off to the point where the first thing in the morning, I intend to call up tmnut's CS and demand to speak to the person in charge the moment someone picks up my call.

Lucky for them, you came in and cleared all speculations.



PS : They could've AT LEAST posted this month long disruption on their website. BUT no..... wanna save face

I got abot 8-9 times disconnected with blinking dsl light this mrning~

since FEBRURARY i heard they said so...

they fix something at certain areas , then after few months when i called them back they are fixing at other areas

but dono why my problem can last for so long....

technical guys just came to my house. apparently if glen_cct's information is correct, they dont know about the "upgrade" or are just hiding the fact.

They said something about changing my port at their server or something to a better one to fix the 7pm disconnecting problem. Let's see if that actually helps

i dont know if those guys u are suppose to ask. Instead, i got a friend from tm in the networking stuff telling routers on malaysia borders are getting very high utilization around 90-95%. links are so congested. still trying to divide the traffic to other routes.

aiseh... if im the tm network planner/developer, i should know customers are increasing. shud just add more routers earlier la.. easy what. TM big taiko telco right?

bloody hell.. some kind of problem always crops up after a few weeks of non interruption.

i got similar problem - the line stops responding after like 20 minute - then resume after 10 seconds - then stop again after 15-20minute.

why the STUPID TMNUT suddenly decrease my bandwidth from 1Mbps to 512kbps? why TMNUT why?

were them reset something account info during the "Disaster Day" ?? lol.............

i am feel so innocent now, suddenly being capped from 1Mbps to 512kbps..........

i now at melaka...streamyx here oso like crap, ping google will timeout, even i wan access microsoft website oso hard, cant go in the window update page
