There's this terms & condition in CTOS upon login where we can choose to agree or disagree. What if one chooses not to disclose the information?

Terms & Condition : Consent for Disclosure Of CTOS Report

•The agreed terms below shall be effective upon the enforcement of the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010.

•With my/our consent, CTOS may provide my/our report/s to the party and/or their legal representatives for the purposes of enabling processing of a transaction and any related processes arising therefrom (hereinafter referred to as 'legitimate interests') with the party. The consent is effective until the interests of both parties in the transaction is completely discharged or fulfilled.

•Where my/our loan or credit application is to be processed or further processed by a credit provider's head office, regional office or processing centre located outside Malaysia, I/We hereby give our consent to CTOS to make disclosure of my/our CTOS report to such location/s outside Malaysia.

•The declaration by a party of a legitimate interest to request for my/our report with my/our consent for disclosure shall be sufficient and adequate proof of a valid purpose within the meaning of the Credit Reporting Act 2010.

•My/our consent to CTOS maybe communicated by any of the following means, namely biometric verification, SMS, Smart Phone mobile application, on-line submission via the CTOS website (http://ctosid.ctos.com.my) or a consent authorisation form.

•Notwithstanding the consent given, I/we agree that CTOS may withhold the release of my/our reports, if it deems the report maybe inaccurate, not up-to-date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.

Hi all, I got a question. I have 2 credit card, all max out and payment is poor. Last week I somehow manage to make a full settlement for one of my cc. With my last bad rep in payments, can I still opt for balance transfer of the indebted cc to my all new cleared cc? Or I still need to pay the cc as usual only?

hi all,

i've few questions..hopefully got the answer..

i've plan with my husband to apply for housing loan. joint income.

My husband income is about RM1800 monthly for basic and got some allowance lets say lah RM2000 monthyl
He got car loan and cc, but both he promptly pay every month and his CCRIS report is 0000000.

My problem is:-

1) Previously i've make a full settlement with my 3 terms loan and already got the Release letter, I'd still have 2 Term Loan (HSBC & Std. Chtd) montly pay RM100 & RM140. My salary is rm2350. Sometimes my company pay salary so late so i've make the payment late but not exceed more than 2 months.

Is it i am still eligible to apply for join housing loan if my CCRIS report appeared 1 1 2 1 and so on?

If CCRIS is showing 1 1 2 1, then quite low chance to get the loan. Yes get your CCRIS n then consult with bankers.

Eligible or not depends on few things:
1) Loan Amount apply: Bank normally evaluate your payment capability, the more existing financial commitment you have, the lower chances you get
2) % of CC utilization
3) CCRIS issue, your 1121 is not too bad as you think
4) The reputation of developer.

Sometime get a housing loan will kill you especially now the property price is so high. You can PM me if you want to know more, I am a financial consultant. I will see what can i help.

Yes it would. But basically when you sign the application forms from the bank, you generally had consented the bank to do a background credit check on you the bank can do a credit check on you from registered credit reference company. Mainly CCRIS which is under BNM and CTOS or RAM which are individual registered credit company.

u better sell off yr two car first and settle the loan before applying new loan. yr installment record in ccris for both car loan got number 3 . meaning you delay your installment more than 3 month. very bad looking from bank perspective.once you settle yr car loans, then your bad track record will dissappear from ccris.just my two cent

hye.. i have checked my ctos report thru online..to my surprise, i didn't have any record in all sections except the section A.

My question is how is it possible when I know that I still have bad debt with maxis dated back to 2007? Any expert here that might have an explaination?
