Here are a few stats about Star Trek:

- Top active site with most emotions invested in the movie is
startrekmovie.com
- Star trek gets a high share of all conversations about movies but the
overall volume of conversation has dropped since last period. The share of
positive discussions is pretty high.
- people across blogs, review sites and message boards are overwhelmingly
expecting a great or excellent movie
- Conversations about the story are increasing, but the sentiment is
Decreasing - less positive than before!
- Both volume of conversation and sentiments about emotions invoked are
increasing
- The overall ratings by unaided social media is lower than pure aggregated
user votes yahoo, rotten tomatoes, IMDB and others.

This year is really exciting. JJ Abram's Star Trek, Micahel Bay's Transformers, McG's Terminator, and Xmen Origin. thumbup.gif

Not frozenlah. It's the Enterprise being builtlah! The only problem is its not built in space.

I've seen the movie. To cut a long story short, while the movie remains entertaining - action packed with lots of humor as well, I found the story to be rather .... cliched and filled with loop holes.

Just think of it as a roller coaster ride and try not to expect anything more.
If you manage your expectations well, you might just be in for a good time. wink.gif
