macam mana nak tangani masalah bulu kucing suka gugur?

hi elfreakz,

im new here n just got a kitten last week.
hope u can help me wit the question.

i give her Royal Canin dry food for kitten n wiskes wet food.
n i dun really know what milk should i give him. now i gave him dutch lady full cream milk n he seem dont really like.
do u have any suggestion?

dgr citer elf it makes me mmg seram, masa baca siap bulu roma semua naik mencacak...sekarang pun still mencacak....harap2 kucing betina kawan saya tu x akan experience things like these lah ...but...all the above nie selalu berlaku kah expecially for those ibu kali pertama or mmg dah lazim gan jenis DLH atau persian...???


elf...u x perlulah jadi garduan oxford cats university...jadi graduan UKKL pun dah cukup dah...

Cats will shed fur from time to time. If normal shedding is okay. Excessive is not.

There are few reasons for fur shedding.

Diet is ofcourse the main contributor. Some cats are great with normal food, some are not. You can try changing their diet but ofcourse to a better one lah

A good and healthy diet = healthy cat = healthy coat.

Another reason also if they are always in fear or sick.

My cat sheds a lot if he is afraid



Royal Canin is good, the wet food is fine in little amount.

But... Dutch Lady Full Cream Milk is a NO-NO my dear

Do not give cat/kitten human consumed milk, it can cause diarrhea.

If you want to give your kitten milk, look for PET milk at pet shops or vets. Best if you can get it from a vet so you can ask them about it as well.

Pet milk are designed for pets and their tummy, while human consumed milk (ie: cows milk) are not suitable for most pets.

dulu masa my furballz tu kecik lagie(ermm...rindu zaman tu, baik jer dia...sekarang dah jadi setan)i started to give him a paticular milk formulated for cats/dogs called "MILKADOG" it comes in 2 sizes small tin like the small milo tin and also a big tin cam size tin milo yg besar gedebak tu..., if my memory is still power the small one should be bout 20 +++ kot...but since now the harga all naik mendadak...it should be up also lah, but u can try at pet shops...

there was an aticle i read some time ago in yahoo regarding full cream milk on animals...we arent suppose to give them this as it has some sort of acidic thingy which could cause cirit birit...( rasanyer our in house expert che elf could give some tips on this kot) hehehehehe.

this milk fomula realy helps as it strongens the furballz imune system and also the growth...my furballz specis jer persian tapi nampak cam anjing shih tzu jer...tengok pun gerun !!! nasib baik tuanyer hensem

Ohh, forgot, I actually wanted to update Elf and those who know, that the Okoplus 10kg I'm using was bought and opened on 26th June, 2008... Till now, still got almost half a bag! Almost 2 months dy

This is usage for 1 cat lor... I think the Okoplus 10kg can last mebbe 3 months for 1 cat...

Coolness! Budget saver for me!

Ohh and my friend found for me Eagle Pack Holistic - 10KG!!! Woohooo! Gonna get it this weekend!

i think if go to the pet shop u can find much milk for kitten..i m very sure last time i went to pet safari and found out quite number of cat milk brand..i dun remember much..dun give them other milk as its not suitable for their digestion system..i think much people aware bout this..

You could just go to a pet shop and ask, Do you have animal milk powder?. As easy as that!

bab bulu kucing ni susah sikit. different cat different skin and coat condition. just like human, ada orang muka licin berseri, ada orang memang ada jerawat, ada org banyak bulu, ada orang tak byk bulu ehehehehe. terlebih sudah

apa apa pun:

-kitten that moving towards adult age, will face bulu gugur.
-pemakanan yang kurang zat untuk coat and fur pun boleh buat bulu jadi tak kuat
-sensitive skin, skin disease will also make the coat is not as strong as before
-fleas, ticks, ringworm infection will also make this problem occur
-chemical usage, such as the shampoo and conditioner which is not suitable to the skin, fur and coat will also make it worst.
-lake of grooming will make your cat fur weak.
-kucing yang sudah neuter/spay will have better fur because they are not involve with sex mating stress. This stress will make your cat fur falls.

so all this you need to check. too much of it, like very very serious falling fur or making your cat botak, you better check with your vet.

at the end of the day, kucing memang akan gugur kan bulu yang lama dan tumbuh bulu yang baru. There's no cat yang tidak akan gugur bulu

most cases, fur fall because of their cats is not neuter/spay, fleas attack, ringworm attack, and less grooming.

if you groom your cat everyday, like sikat bulu dorang, you will face less fur, because you already comb it everyday.

What is your kitten age anyway? if it is more than 3 months old, you may want to skip that milk. Since kitten age 3 months need less milk, because they can eat 100% by them self. Kitten food is formulated with so much nutrition which is equivalent to milk.

at one point, some kitten will stop milk at the age of 1 1/2 months.

some kitten will have diarrhea when drinking milk. the best milk is always mother milk.

so, if your cat is more than 2-3 months, you can just give them Royal canin kitten food. and wiskes wet food maybe twice a week. that's consider good .

Can pump the milk? Like humans do?

yang i bagitau tu base on experience saja. i'm not veterinary graduate anyway like people say, reading the book alone will not make you successful. You need to do practical and learn from the vet.

yea most of it happen to first timer female cat who become mother. Selalu nya happen kalau female cat tu belum cukup usia untuk beranak. very less happen to mature female cat. belum cukup usia untuk become ibu tu is about 8 months old tu 14 months old. mature to become mother is above 14 months old. but some cats ada yang successful juga. bergantung lah pada kucing. and yes most unsuccessful labor and pregnancy is from DLH or long hair pure breed cats.

yeah bawah perut yang bulu bergumpal gumpal tu kan. always happen kalau lepas mandi tak kering betul, and also when the cat lick/bath them self.

long hair cat, you need comb yang macam ni:



You angkat or genggam tangan atas kucing tu.. the legs will still pijak lantai. then you comb the below part. make it fast, but don't push it too hard to the skin. if you cant dont like it, stop for awhile. and give some cat treat.



If the bulu bergumpal tu banyak sangat, you get this kind of comb:



you can see the different from the first one, yang kedua ni, besi dia jarak jarak. then the first one.



this comb on the other hand:



is much more suitable for short hair cats. kalau nak guna for long hair, i will only use it dekat leher dan atas badan.


apa apa pun, do it slowly for that kind of bulu, it might hurt your cats kalau buat terlalu kasar.
