10GB per day non accumulate? or 80GB per month for new account?
Why keep on changing rules? They should just made up their mind. Does other one click hosting like Megaupload keep changing the rules? Sh*t, the new rules sucks.

I'm still trying to digest what RS means. My account is going to expire by Nov. If i were to extend it, my account still stay 10GB per day or 80GB per month?

Gah...I just read the news all over again. Account extension will be affected. SH*T!!!!! cry.gif

Now your account will remain as 10GB/day. It doesn't matter whether you use it up or not, you'll restart at 10GB the next day (6a.m. for us). IINM, download traffic that weren't used could be accumulated to the next day, and so forth, up to a maximum of 50GB.

After your account expires, whether you extend, or purchase a new one, you'll be bounded by the 80GB/month rule. If you download 80GB in the first day, then you'll be done for the month laugh.gif

I dun think there is anymore accumulation. Because i left my remaining traffic at 3GB last night and this morning i only seeing 10GB. If accumulate, it should be 13GB.

I hope they will change the rule reeaallllllyyyy soon else i will just switch over to Megaupload. MU links are also abundant.

I always extend my account via paypal. So I really think that this new rules S*CKS!!

If it is true. It might be a way to force ppl to buy premium account and minimize overload on the server.

Comment from other user that I saw from other forum.

"16.99 euros for 10 gig a day limit and a 3 month period = 900 gigs.

now its 16.99 to sign up for 90 days, which gets you 2.6 gig a day, or 234 per 3 months.

The difference in bandwidth is 666gigs every 3 months, and with their new "simple and fairer" traffic share system you can top up a gig for 10 cents (euro). Thats an extra 66 euros. 66 + 16.99 = 83 euros for the same bandwidth as 16.99 got you before.

Now I dont use all that much anyway, but f*ck that. cheeky c*nts writing all that bollocks above pretending that its for the good of the customers.

That a f*cking 388% increase in prices! ( if you work on a 3 month basis)"

From 300gb average download per month reduced to 80gb??
Ain't that just a retarded "upgrade" from RS which supposedly "pleases" the premium users vmad.gif
Well..there's still megaupload and the whole filefetching thingy from RS, MU to the rescue icon_rolleyes.gif

Rapidshare sucks anyway. My account is going to expire next month and its about time to switch back to VPN or any other service. Their policy sucks , now all they care is about making money money and money. Phew , its not worth it for every Ringgit that you pay now.
