You have exceeded the download limit.
You can download 2.66 Gigabytes per day. 2.66 Gigabytes are equal to 2.660.000.000 Bytes. |

QUOTE(abcstop @ Oct 26 2008, 09:47 PM) yeah.. this few day, non stop downloading. switching to MU is one thing, if the original uploader uploads the stuff onto Rapidshare... we are still forced to use Rapidshare try to finish the 50gb trafficshare + everyday 10gb traffic ..... and switch to mu sooner or later this sucks Added on October 26, 2008, 11:54 pm QUOTE(Crazy.SoT.Gila @ Oct 25 2008, 11:49 AM) Now your account will remain as 10GB/day. It doesn't matter whether you use it up or not, you'll restart at 10GB the next day (6a.m. for us). IINM, download traffic that weren't used could be accumulated to the next day, and so forth, up to a maximum of 50GB. and if you need extra after utilizing your 80GB on the first day, u have to pay extraAfter your account expires, whether you extend, or purchase a new one, you'll be bounded by the 80GB/month rule. If you download 80GB in the first day, then you'll be done for the month This post has been edited by curlyfries: Oct 26 2008, 11:54 PM |

Why would uploaders want to upload to rapidshare when no downloaders like Rapidshare?
If Rapidshare do not change their policy, uploaders and downloaders alike will switch to other file hosts. |

I believe even right now MU has a lot of users. MU is always the fierce competitors of RS. MU is at 2nd place after RS. What u can find with RS, most of them are also available in MU. But we don't see MU frequently changing their rules like RS, right?
At least the latest changes like FileMigrator is useful. I'm gonna create collector account and transfer my files ASAP.( before RS change rules again) BTW, I wanna ask, if 10GB is used up, 1GB from TrafficShare will be allocated, right? Let's say i only used up 500MB, so left another half 500MB. On the next day, 10GB will be added. So what will happen to that unused 500MB? |

QUOTE(Rapidshare) 160 million files have already been uploaded to RapidShare. A number that proves, that the world depends on moving important data from A to B. A number that also proves, that RapidShare with its fast and easy services also addresses users that are no computer nerds. can we believe that word? the court has ruled rapidshare to check each and every one of the files uploaded for copyrighted contents... RapidShare is the first technology worldwide that made sending big files so easy, so fast and so secure. The files can be stored as long as needed and can be recalled from anywhere in the world, they are strictly confidential and can only be accessed by the user that originally loaded them up, or alternatively can be distributed among thousands of people quickly and easily. With a couple of billion page impressions per day we know, that we as a leader will have to pave the way for this new technology. We are aware of the fact that we therefore have big responsibility. If, for example, it had been regulated by law to control all copies before the first photo copier was invented, it is very likely that these machines would have never hit the market. That's why we are doing everything to enable this new technology - which is still very young, but already inspires millions of people every day - to be part of our future and make life more comfortable. The security of personal data is very important to us, especially in these times. That's the reason why we will not spy out the files that our clients faithfully upload onto RapidShare, not now nor in future. We are against upload control and guarantee you that your files are safe with us and will not be opened by anyone else than yourself, unless you distribute the download link. RapidShare, of course, is against the distribution of illegal files and as soon as we are informed about illegal distribution, we delete these files and put them on a filter. But the general control of uploads is out of the question for us, because we think that especially in these times data privacy comes first. QUOTE(skylinegtr34rule4life @ Oct 27 2008, 08:58 AM) and the transition will take about a year or more i guess That's maybe true for uploaders, but not for downloaders. Uploaders get the benefits of 500gb personal space per account, while downloader got limited downloads per months. Sooner or later, uploaders will be force to leave rapidshare when there's no one want to download their files... |
