I'm kinda blur about the points. My fren from singapore downloaded files from my Premium account as free user but no point generate. But when he downloaded from collector account got point oh.
But when I download from both account premium and collector account, no point at all. And I already reconnect with new IP before I download. Anyone can test for me? Just 1 person with Premium account is enough. |

ohh....u can try use iOpus iMacros firefox plugin for automation. Thats what I used to when i wanna remote upload to RS. I use iMacro to add in links and also remove those remote upload job that are already completed.
Wonder if anyone know how to transfer file from premium account to collector account. This post has been edited by willchua: Sep 16 2008, 01:17 PM |

I also got GlobalCrossing when i click Free User.
Wanna ask 2 question to rapidshare expert here, 1.) Is there a way to rename my files in Premium account? For example rapidshare.com/files/123456789/abc.zip > change abc.zip to 123.zip 2.) How to get direct link of the RS files? For example http link > rapidshare.com/files/123456789/abc.zip direct link > r21.rapidshare.com/files/123456789/abc.zip r21 is the server number. Of coz, I can always do it the hard way by going to RapidShare Checker and it will return the server number but I have a few thousand link here and the checker can only check 1xx links at one time. QUOTE(tofuwizard @ Sep 16 2008, 04:30 PM) You can rename files by going to a url redirection site like sturly(google it to get the actual site) Thanks for reply but both the answer are not suitable for me. To get direct links, dump all the files u want in IDM as http links. Start the downloads of these files till you get the file size in IDM (1-3sec for each file should be enough). In IDM, go to file>Export> export downloads> and export it to a txt file. That's it, all your files should have the direct links like r21.rapidshare/files/... 1) I dun wanna change the URL of the RS link but I wanna change the filename of the files inside my Premium account. For example rapidshare.com/files/123456789/abc.zip > change abc.zip to 123.zip 2) The method you teach using IDM will be more time consuming. RapidShare Checker can check 100++ link at one click. Anyone have anymore idea? |

10GB in 1 hour? Wow, wont that be good?
I can only download 99MB in 15min. Even if I download at maximum speed of 1Mbps Streamyx for 24 hours, I still wont be able finish my 10gb daily quota. |

But it's too bad that RS account is based on 10GB per day.
I wonder if it would be better if RS just give all 300GB (10GB x 30days) and up to user how they wanna use. |

QUOTE(FarCry3r @ Sep 18 2008, 02:12 PM) maybe u didn't understand. outside malaysia, there's alot of ppl with T1 (or cable) connection which is fast enough to consume all Rapidshare terabytes of bandwidth in just one day. Imagine 300GB/user/day. Multiply it with let's say 100,000 user with T1. Wouldn't that be 30,000,000GB? or equal to 30TB of Rapidshare bandwidths? other slow connections users will be affected. maybe you didn't complaint but I'm sure others will. and no, it's not just streamyx... Yeah. What u says make sense. Maybe it's part of the quality control measure. |
