to display full HD, your monitor must have a resolution of 1920 x 1080. a 22" monitor can only do 1680x1050, which means only a 24" and above monitor can play hd as they can support up to 1920x1200.

Yesterday, I went to Lowyat, the price G2400 is now RM999. Salesman says is PC Fair price. However v2400W is still RM1499.

G2400 seems to be a good bargain, is it recommended ?

the V2400W also not bad.. people in hardforum said it used better panel than G2400W .. so.. better judge yourself before buy is the best.. different eyes different view..

Yes, it is Startec. According to the sales person is special price RM999 for PC Fair. It seems the only 24" with HDMI, that is so cheap.

I am thinking to buy Samsung 2253BW or LG 22" but BenQ G2400 24" seems to be a good bargain. Can't make up my mind for now, will wait until PC Fair for final decision.

It's G2400W, oops typo error. Yes, even at RM1200, it's a steal. I am not sure about quality, contrast ratio is 1000:1, no mention of dynamic range etc. Startec displayed G2400W and V2400W side by side, can't tell difference by looking at demo video.

called benq they will do 1 to 1 exchange for me on site... but I kinda dont want coz waste my time waiting.. I can still use it on the hdmi port for pc.. just need to change the cable from pc to ps3 .. vice versa.. hey it look even better now www.. that's why I cancel the claim just now but the gal re-assure.. I can get exchange anytime.. she wanted to lend me another 24" lcd... and I dont want.. I don't like other people thing..

I dunno why the dvi port just die.. it seem like in sleep mode.. and don't want to wake up.. will check on this issues... some people in hardforum seem to have this issue with the dvi port as well.

so.. just incase lah.. ok.. make sure your warranty thing is intake.. with benq msia.. just incase anything happen.. well it is 3 yr warranty from the day of the reciept stated.. so keep your reciept.. they dont have warranty card or whatever.. they don't even need online registration.. this is what I call top quality service.. hassle free..

if you lost your reciept it will be base on the manufacturer date..
