QUOTE(viperiii @ Oct 16 2008, 08:35 PM) Not really. LCD TV may have lower resolution, but a good LCD TV looks better. Resolution isn't everything. My Aquos TV easily beats my BENQ LCD monitor in terms of image quality. The colour looks natural and the everything just looks more 3D-ish even without any tweaking. |

QUOTE(limhongwoon @ Oct 16 2008, 10:54 PM) lol Samsung has emerged as one of the top notch display panel maker. They were even good with CRT monitors and TVs. three of my ex office banjir in the the CRT because they were put under the aircond and one night, the aircond kencing. The CRTs were put outside to dry. Once they were dried, we turned it on, and they were still working fine Added on October 17, 2008, 10:18 am QUOTE(_707027_ @ Oct 17 2008, 10:07 AM) u have a point there. but also there are some 24" at RM 1.5K and above. so, like extra 2" almost equal 100% higher of those 22" below RM600 This post has been edited by g5sim: Oct 17 2008, 10:18 AM |

QUOTE(g5sim @ Oct 17 2008, 10:02 AM) extremely expensive - considering 22" = 2" difference is selling nearly 50% cheaper Nice comparison. If 2 X 22" need a bigger table also But I wonder what is the most suitable lcd size for normal pc usage, I means like one size fit all? Like me, my work involve lot of desktop publishing, so larger screen is a must. But still, 22" may occupied some of my table space. Don't know about 24". I have 32" lcd tv, so if anyone ask if I want to put 32" monitor (if there is one in the future) on my pc table, definitely I said no. May be manufacturer will focus on 22"/24" as the largest screen size for consumer. |

I'm sure, when you're able to afford a nice big screen, you wouldn't mind to get a mounting arm to hold your screen. This method will save you some of your work space.

Text looks great at native resolution. Suprisingly, even at 1080i, the text is pretty good also and not as bad as expected when running at non-native res.Anyhow....i'm not doing Word or Excel on my Aquos.....haven't try surfing the web at 1080i though...will try later. Also a good graphic card helps...my old HTPC (XP MCE) with an AGP 6200 looks quite horrible compared to my ATI 4850 (VISTA) on the Aquos. |

But my cheap lcd (not fully hd) have problem with text. Text have jagged edge, although readable but not so sharp. But if sit >5ft, has nice look. |
