best bet would be Lian-Li. V-2000 is huge, can fit pretty much anything in there, and it's light

Give some good reason why you don't want Lian Li V2K Series.
You want to know why no one is suggesting Thermaltake Shark? Because it's a casing for childrens, for kids. Elite users only choose three, Lian-Li, Silverstone and last but not least, Soldam. This post has been edited by sHawTY: Jul 9 2007, 12:37 PM |

QUOTE(newmel @ Jul 9 2007, 11:17 AM) Hi there everyone. At the moment, i'm trying to look for a casing that would fit a 3x120 rad internally, at the moment, seems like the only choice is the TJ07, but its a little pricey for me. anyway, heres the question, anyone know the weights of the P180 and the P182? the antec site quotes em at ~ 15kgs? thats like heavier than the larger TJ07, could anyone confirm the weights please? thanks Antec P180 is quite heavy..with the hardware install easily hitting 30kg+EDIT, but i'm open to suggestions for cases that are similar to the P182/180, do not need to be able to internally mount a Rad, but should be light. ~ i am using one.. |

aerocool baydream
http://www.aerocool.com.tw/case/baydream/baydream.html dimension 467mm(H)x200mm(W)x450mm(D) (slightly shorter than ur requirement. the hdd bay if u wanna use the 90deg wan...ur gonna have to use IDE or 90deg sata cables...if using normal sata cables i think u have to take out of the fans on the side panel. price was around 3xx last time in ALL IT. but dunno if still got sell or not. |

hi
i would like to know the quality and price and weight for the transparent kind of CPU casings. Do they dissipate heat as good as aluminium and steel ones ? i plan to carry my CPU between my univ and house.. so i need some kind of light and strong casings. what are the good brands ? why are steel/aluminium ones so thick and heavy ? as long as everything can fit in and does not bend like a rubber band , it shud work out just find right ? LOL thanks alot |

What makes you say aluminium casings are heavier than arcylic casings?
IMO, aluminium casinsg is lighter than arcyclic casings. And seriously, any reason why you want arcylic casings? You said in the first post you always move your PC around, seriously, you don't want an arcylic casings, just a little bump, and there'll be a crack on the casing. If i were you, i'll stick with some good ol' aluminium casing, yes it's not sturdy as SECC, but it's more sturdy than an arcylic casing. The weight is a plus point too, as aluminium casing is lighter than SECC. |

What's SECC? I supposed it's a metal type casing right? Btw, I heard that aluminium is stronger than metal?
