No, no more PC-G7 from ATE computers.
Stock finished, and promotion also no more.

is the gigabyte 3d aurora 570 good?
planning to buy the case.

As a previous owner & the first user of that casing in this forum [or maybe in malaysia laugh.gif ] i would say no.

I used that casing for only 3 month, then sell it back.

The reason?
bad airflow + bad thermal performance. sweat.gif

The main problem about Gaygaybyte 3D Aurora [New model or Old model, it's the same] is about the intake fan.

There's a lot of problem on the intake area.

1) The HDD Bay are facing the sidepanel, which means the direct airflow is blocked by the HDD bay.
2) The HDD bay does have holes in it's wall, but the holes are too small to compare with my LL PC-G7 hdd bay.
3) The airflow is also blocked by the honeycomb as the fan is outside of the honeycomb, not inside. This, creates a turbulence where the air can't go straight into the casing which creates bad airflow.
4) One intake and two exhaust? Bad idea don't you think?

Gaygaybyte should think of a way dealing with this kind of problem.
To those 3D Aurora users, there is a way, you can send your aurora's to ianho and ask him to mod the HDD bay to face the PCI slots so that the airflow could go directly to the GFX and this will result to better airflow. If you want better result, ask the modder to cut a blowhole on that honeycomb, with this, the intake will be much much better as more air can go directly into the casing. To create a better airflow, i suggest putting another 120mm intake blowhole into the casing.
Maybe on the top of the casing?

Just my suggestion though. smile.gif

Ok...need to ask whether you guys on Good Casing and Bad Casing.
My casing is non-branded, chaplang brand, E-Mag, installed with 80mm exhaust fan, when I opened up my casing sidepanel, my system temperature drops 5degree. so, can i assume that this is a bad casing?

So, can I also assume that a good casing with front and exhaust fan will maintain my system temperature, even when I remove the sidepanel?
*
Does your casing has intake fans?
If not, then the exhaust fans is just a waste, plus, it's making your casing have a really really high negative airflow. No intake, but has exhaust. doh.gif

For RM300, you should consider yourself a Lian Li PC-007
It's a very good full aluminium chasis.

Hahaha ... sHawTY is official LL supporter now ..

of course the thing is paying RM500 for SECC steel is a no no compare to Lian Li case that offer much more features...

Of course out of the TT case mentioned .. i would said Armour JR Alu version is the best ... but compare the price against features... still LL case at that range outstanding ..

the call is still up to the buyer ....visit ATE and see for urself ..then only can understand the beauty of KK....
*
True... nod.gif

You can only understand the beauty of LL by touching and seeing it yourself. smile.gif

PS: Beside an official supporter of Lian-Li, i'm also a supproter for SOLDAM which i can never get in my hands. laugh.gif

But those casing can find in Low yat ?
*
What type of casing?
If you're talking about Lian Li, yes, it is available at Lowyat Plaza.

Find ATE Computers, and feel the love on each of the Lian Li casing.

Lian Li casings doesn't have those fancy schmancy desing like Thermaltake [EEUUWW!!!].
Lian Li design their casings to look smart and more to executive looks. wub.gif

Thermaltake [EEUUWW!!! again] design their casings to look fancy schmancy like children toys. laugh.gif

I believe the only way to get the answer for your question is to ask those guys at ATE Computers Lowyat Plaza. smile.gif

I'm not sure either you can find a replacement fan of that size, infact, i think it's impossible. tongue.gif

Just now look some Lian li casing on web, some air flow interesting, back fan also intake air go in....
pc-G7 not bad ah XD.

Some i still don't understand, infront got fan and without hole how to intake air go in ?
*
QUOTE(akachester @ Apr 5 2007, 07:43 PM)
Yea, i have this doubt as well. There are some casing that have a cover at the front without any ventilation holes but there is a front intake fan.How do they actually provide the air for intake?Casings like the LL PC-A10 (IINM) have front plate to cover those roms slot etc.
*
Look at the side of the PC-G7 properly, and you'll see a lot of ventilation holes that lets the air move in.

And on the lower part of the front panel, there's a huge gap that serves as a vent to let the air in. smile.gif

It's the cheapest casing from all Lian Li lines of casing. wub.gif
But too bad that you won't be able to get it at the RM198 price anymore, as the promotion is over, and the stocks is finished too. laugh.gif
