yes, the radio is streamed over the internet connection.
the application is free. if u connect on free wifi, it is free. if u are on 3G unlimited, consider the application as a bonus to maximise your monthly 3G expenses. This post has been edited by eye: Sep 19 2008, 02:56 PM |

QUOTE(unknowndevices @ Sep 19 2008, 02:57 PM) Yes, it can connect to countries worldwide. That is its sole purpose. This is only applicable for those radio stations who stream their broadcasts over the internet though. Bear in mind that not all radio stations broadcast over the internet. Thus you may not find your favourite stations which do terrestrial broadcasts only. When i filter for US, there are 430 stations available for you to choose. Where as for Japan, there are only 2, Hong Kong 5, Msia 2 (domestic, u dun use ip radio .. hehehe just for info), Spore 1, UK 119, Ozzie 20, India 9, etc etc. Indonesia, China & Taiwan are not listed in the country search tho. It's similar to those internet radios one uses on the pc or notebook. |

Music Device Compatibility most, if not all of the apps, can work on other models with the same symbian OS. can test out and see, if dun work, just uninstall .. hehehe. obviously, i m trying to share those apps that are useful/playful (in my opinion) and that can work on the e71. keep the lowyat e71 community growing maaaa ... the e71, so far, is the best phone i bought todate in terms of usability and quality for that price. i thought it would be nice if everyone can share their apps. Yeah, the slider one looks like HTC PDA
But the other one, candy bar - does not have any difference compared to E71 |

Fellow E71 users,
Have been using this device for sometime already - have some qualms bout this platform: 1. Lacks copy function in non-editing mode. For eg, when viewing email or browsing web. 2. No network base file explorers 3. Mail For Exchange - lack of flexibility and features. If anyone can help shed some light on the above mentioned, I would really appreciate it. |

Bro,
Read Stuff mag for September issue and there is an article that showed how to turn our E71 to be used as a wifi hotspot. Awesome, man and it works too. You still need 3G to do this. Go to Joiku Sport. Can't remember the exact website but google it I'm sure you'll find it |
