Mike,

Fancy you're here as well. Mine comes preloaded with Garmin and I can use it straight away. Mine is Zitron purchased at RM1.75k. Really like the phone that I hardly miss my old Tytn II winmobile which I sold off on the net. Was looking for the white color the other day but I don't think it is available, AP or authorised set.

Paid 1.75k for a zitron set last Saturday. It replaces my Tytn II which I sold off. So far so good, am not missing win mobile. Internet HSDPA is faster than my Tytn II, gmail is a breeze, GPS on Garmin works very well, lucky I did not spend more $$$ for the Diamond.....

Try any phone outlet or nokia shops. The zitron or Avaxx set should be selling at that price while AP and CSL will be abt RM150 to RM250 lower. But if you're game, get the ori one less hassle.

Pukarix,

Charge your batt for a good 8 hours, then use it as you normally use any hp. That should be the standard setup recommendation.

Mike, Seriouscat

Am also an iphone edge user. Although I am an apple enthusiast, not fanboy mind you, my E71 is still my primary phone for work. The iphone is just my funphone. LOL, the 3g iphone can't even be used as a modem like the E71.

Try to read carefully. The site already gave U a solution on certificate not valid" http://www.mobitubia.com/dp/?q=content/expired-certificate
Wat I can said about Maxis 3G is...SUX...Poor coverage, line not stable...and hell lot of problem.

I using Celcom Rm68 package. But the let down is the sim card is only for data line. U cannot make phone call and sms. There for U will have 2 sim cards. I not sure if can combine to have both voice and data line together in 1 sim..
But using 2 sim card is a bit troublesome...at least for me.

Mike, yes you can. Am currently using data and voice on 1 line (68 for 3G + 80 voice). Used to be on 99 unlimited later downgrade to 68, cheaper and since usage not that heavy as well.

Mike,

Am using Celcom unlimited 68 and voice for my office line while in my 1st gen iphone am using Maxis. Maxis 3G is still far behind Celcom, that's why. One thing I discovered is that speed for internet connectivity using E71 as modem is quite fast, infact faster than the Tytn II. I'm sure Celcom allow you to merge, but hey give them a ring to confirm.

Bro,

Read Stuff mag for September issue and there is an article that showed how to turn our E71 to be used as a wifi hotspot. Awesome, man and it works too. You still need 3G to do this. Go to Joiku Sport. Can't remember the exact website but google it I'm sure you'll find it

Sembilan,

Just go for it. I was in KL and Shah Alam last week and used Garmin to take me thru' the shortest routes possible saving time, energy and not to mentioned fuel. The E71 is a wonder phone. I had doubts 'bout the QWERTY keypad earlier, but hey I can type quite fast on it. Very professional looking, does not lose if park close to a 3G iphone.
