Hi guys

Just bought me an E66. Was really torn between the two phones (E71 v E66) but I chose the E66 since I'm not really an SMS hantu.

Anyways, great phone but I suck at Symbian. Just wondering whether you guys are having trouble playing videos on youtube.com via WLAN? Everytime I try to play videos on youtube.com over my WLAN at home I keep getting an error message (disconnect lah, unable to connect lah).

Is something wrong with me or are you guys experiencing the same thing? I suspect it might be my realplayer settings. Help anyone?

Cheers guys

the key to watch youtube is to go for the desktop version(find it)

if you surf using the nokia browser
it will go to m.youtube.com

which I found out that the browser keep on bringing the real player to view the vids (n failed)

=)

i tested trial n error stuff ...

Thanks heaps. That works. I tried to download mobitubia put keep getting "certificate not valid" or something like that.

Regardless, thanks again guys.

Noob question coming up ... so do you all subscribe to the unlimited Maxis 3G package (RM99 per month I think)? If I'm going to use GPRS and stuff like that extensively the unlimited package would be the way to go right?

Wat I can said about Maxis 3G is...SUX...Poor coverage, line not stable...and hell lot of problem.

I using Celcom Rm68 package. But the let down is the sim card is only for data line. U cannot make phone call and sms. There for U will have 2 sim cards. I not sure if can combine to have both voice and data line together in 1 sim..
But using 2 sim card is a bit troublesome...at least for me.

Mike, yes you can. Am currently using data and voice on 1 line (68 for 3G + 80 voice). Used to be on 99 unlimited later downgrade to 68, cheaper and since usage not that heavy as well.

glad to hear that it can combine. Do Celcom allow to merge data line with let said for example a new voice line I newly applied?
BUT..too bad i using company phone line (Maxis)..and Maxis 3G coverage is so poor in my area (Melaka). sad.gif
The celcom 3g 68 is as back up or when I go out and want a quick check on net...smile.gif

Mike,

Am using Celcom unlimited 68 and voice for my office line while in my 1st gen iphone am using Maxis. Maxis 3G is still far behind Celcom, that's why. One thing I discovered is that speed for internet connectivity using E71 as modem is quite fast, infact faster than the Tytn II. I'm sure Celcom allow you to merge, but hey give them a ring to confirm.

Coreplayer can play alot of media file type inclusing DIVX, XVID.

Ya...Some AP set had longer warranty period so why choose zitron? But some AP set tend to came from many unknown source.
Like I want my E71 to have Chinese symbol on keypad, able to read Chinese "natively". I actually looking for an AP set initially but end up buying a Original set.
Twice I transfer the money and refund later coz the AP set didnt support Chinese, need to re-flash firmware for that.

hmm....what do you mean by that? can you please enlighten me...I planned to buy one AP unit of e71 next week..As far as I know the only difference between AP set and so called "ori" is the warranty coverage. In terms of built quality it suppose to be the same, isn't it? Both manufactured by nokia. It's not like AP unit is pasar malam/ golok e71 look alike phone...

Do not worry, everything is the same except for the warranty nod.gif

AP sets also may not have chinese keypad. Other than that, some models may have different accessories for AP (but E71 same accessories as ori)

Thanks mikelanding and viravira. I solved the 3G problem by deactivating the APN control but I am still having a problem using the wifi. Not sure if my home router is the problem. Will have to go out and try a public wifi to see.

Is it the "no gateway" problem? I am also having the same problem. Not sure why. Sometimes can access & sometimes cannot, even at the same hotspot sweat.gif

if you encounter such problem like no gateway even you are at the same place.you might try deleting the access point at setting connection , then try connect again.this should help.
