erm.. if u tried it indoor for GPS, its quite hard to get a lock compare to dedicated btGPSr.

lol.. i found out that price is quite cheap in singapore. hehehehe.. only warranty issue.

SGD 670 = RM1616.8 if buy there directly. but if ship back here... lets say buy original set is better. and now the price just drop.. i think i just remain malaysian price. hehe


well, QC can be varies from country to country. since you know about flextronic, then you should know that other country also have manufacturer for SE and SE singapore might just get from other source if let say Malaysia/China no stock. this is also explain why we say buying phone needs some luck. becoz some batches are from other countries rather than usual source. this is what i get from the flextronic workers during my training.

buying ap/singapore is more likely to be having warranty issues where original set doesnt have. after all, if i am buying, i wud just want to try it out and see if it can last long in my hand. i dont say your thinking is wrong, but there is also grey area that you and i dont know.

well, just say that e71 is business minded phone to begin with, sporting full qwerty keypad and armed with up-to-date connections. if that is not enough, GPS is built on board and 3.2mp autofocus camera which is better than iphone at anytime. however interface is not fluid style and the screen is not as big as iphone. but even in the "give and take" situation, E71 gives more than what it takes.

if you want to have better option in connectivity and flexibility, e71 is better than iphone. and i can say, e71's on board speaker is definitely better and bluetooth is for file transfer, not just limited to handsfree.

i900... if u cant take symbian.. then WinMo is a hard thing to swallow too.. but hey, i might be wrong..

touch diamond? heard there is alot of problem havent rectify yet...

iphone 3g? wait for the unlocked might lead your neck become long

e71? something balance but non touch screen.
e51 and e71 both more or less the same in terms of OS.
in this case, i would advise you to test the unit in the shop. who knows you might just like it.

E61 isnt Sym60 OS9.2... it is only Symbian OS 9.1, Series 60 v3.0 UI while E71 is Symbian OS 9.2, Series 60 v3.1 UI

possibility to be not compatible is quite high.

maybe u shud buy e61i instead of e61 version... coz e61 version lagi old..

i read the review from GSMarena... seems they like it very much except the camera part...
i dun mind camera since this is more into business phone...

i dun expect good camera from e71 initially but AF shud come in handy especially if there is business card scanner feature..

tmr i might go and see if i can get a unit to play around... i yet to had that on my hand...

got stock one.. price macam original... barang pulak AP set...

if not under data plan... be prepare to pay at least RM60-80 just for AGPS data download alone if u use everyday...
