just started the E66 thread.... i prefer E66 over E71's small QWERTY pad....

but for dilema N82 vs E66 ? which one is better ?

N82 for camera and all those high tech func, E66 is more of business phone.

Any one of you guys having 3G connection problem near Pandan Indah/Hospital Pantai Indah?

It seems the connection is fine, but no data flow thru. Funny.

Update: after calling up to complaint, now the 3g is working again, think something wrong with the tower/repeater around here.

I just bought this phone today - ori set.

Everything is good. Photo quality is below average compared to other 3.15 mpixel camera phone.

I also realised that the USB port is not like the one in other Nokia devices. This one is thinner, isn't it?

Other thing is I also realised that we can't use the front camera to snap photos (other Nokia's symbian phones can do it)

is there such thing as the keypad acts like a normal phone.i mean 2 is actually abc 3 is def..4 is ghi...

i do need to know whether i could sms without looking at the keypad.i hope u guys understand my question..

yup, this mini USB is diff with normal one, thinner...just like my previous 6500S.

I am using the E61i. E61i was great already, but E71 is my dream phone right now. I need a good business phone, but no money, so will keep on saving.

Paid 1.75k for a zitron set last Saturday. It replaces my Tytn II which I sold off. So far so good, am not missing win mobile. Internet HSDPA is faster than my Tytn II, gmail is a breeze, GPS on Garmin works very well, lucky I did not spend more $$$ for the Diamond.....

Try any phone outlet or nokia shops. The zitron or Avaxx set should be selling at that price while AP and CSL will be abt RM150 to RM250 lower. But if you're game, get the ori one less hassle.

Guys, just before I decide to get a Nokia E71(upgrading from E61), I was wondering, is there any 2 different types of the E71, as in one that can read and write in mandarin, and another pure English version?

Just want to make sure as the last time i bought my E61, I didn't know there are 2 versions and ended up getting the version that doesn't recognise chinese charactors.

Yes. AP sets are currently not in chinese version. Only ori sets comes with chinese. Will suggest you to get ori set if you are planning to buy not + if u want chinese

Anyone use this for blackberry connect? Heard Nokia is dumping BB connect on E series.

yup, no bb connect on this phone coz this phone is a strong competitor for the new bb pearl. They afraid that nokia will take their market segment if they allowed nokia to use their bb software.

finally set up garmin XT in my E71, running fast by AGPS, very fast locking position...but i wonder this AGPS will cost my phone bill a bomb???!!!!coz always running on data n i was not under unlimited data plan???

is it symbian have any software like GPRS monitor in WM???any expert of symbian willing to share here???

if not under data plan... be prepare to pay at least RM60-80 just for AGPS data download alone if u use everyday...
