is it the same as W910?? when i look at the picture of C905 it made me feel like it is no sharp

Hi, i am new here. and i am interested buying this phone, but i have some doubt about it... Will the slider of this phone get loose after sliding it frequently? i know that all slide phones will get loose after a year and it eventually getting worse few years later. But is there a way like tighten it just like a screw? (sry i am new to this hp)

As far as I know, usually it won't happen. My sister has a Nokia 6280 and it is now coming to 3 years if I'm not mistaken and everything is still fine.

This c905 slider is better than w910i so just go 4 it !!!

Day 1 been set at 90% brightness only. That's my default for all my phones

Added on January 18, 2009, 4:59 pmI think all things have wear tear due to usage. You also need to condider how people slide the phone. If rough usage then won't last long than those who take care of their phone slider.

if im texting and I know that Im going to sending and receiving sms-es for some time, i dont slide close my phone, just leave it open.


The black has a rubbery feel - much like the brown K800i vs the silver k800i. Silver feels more metallic

opera mini is highly recommended

screen is a lil too bright for me. XD im not complaining though...
i set mine to 60% only. haha. save battery also.
now loading stuff into my phone...games, themes, apps...

True, my friend's z610i which is a flip phone has about 20,000 times of flipping it open and close according to the service test. Maybe this is how SE will check for if it is a wear and tear issue.

but battery life is a lil bit on the "so so" side only...

Well you can't judge the battery life so soon until you have about 3-4 times recharge cycle to have an optimum performance.

yes, im working on how to install offline maps on my phone.
so far i've only found "trekbuddy" recommended in the GPS thread...
now figurin out how to get the maps...coz the link provided is dead.

You can use for 3 months free. Haven't tried as worried I waste the 3 months. Also want to figure out.

Gorgeous! Been using the K800i before this before moving on to the iPhone. I think I'll stick with the black one for my choice!

Think I'll be trading in my 1 month old N85 for this. Company gave a phone voucher with a expiry date and it was my first choice but this phone was not released yet. I even sent SE Malaysia an email in early December 2008 to ask about release date and price and they couldn't even inform me.

This was my first choice but my girlfriend is a MAJOR NOKIA supporter and advised me to get a NOKIA. I've been a previous NOKIA user too so I took the N85 (AP) instead. After 2 weeks, had to send back to the shop - the phone will shut down when there's a SIM card inserted. Works fine when I took it out.

Today wanted to collect my phone after 2 weeks + in ICU and when went back to the shop, tested the phone and again same problem! Told the guy either give me a new phone, or I wanna top up some money to get this C905.

Played around with it, like the buttons better than the flat buttons on N85.

Saw the gold C905 today. Ugh, I don't like the colour

Guess I'll be sticking to BLACK!

Guess what guys... the other day i went ot Sg.Wang to ask around price for this phone

One of the stall/booth quoted me rm1950.. i was like "wtf?!"..

So, i told him.. "err.. SonyStyle selling for rm1890"..

And u know what the salesman said?..

He said.. "SonyStyle?.. oh.. SonyStyle selling APset wan.."..

*nuff said... and left the booth/stall*..
