how to get files to the phone ah

mayb u can try USB connection mode instead of ActiveSync..
normally transfer big files can be a problem when u r in ActiveSync

then what files does it play on the phone ... besides divx
i tired importing avi xvid files ... cannot play

as i knw.. 1 of the forummer tell me tat u can play real media (.rm) files on Omnia....

any good divx converters that u guys know ?

hey guy.. here is a lil tip to prevent battery drainage:
1. stop ur port splitter
2. switch off ur 3G function if ur area is not within 3G coverage or has poor 3G coverage.

port splitter really drain your batt life very fast.. dont run it unless you running on gps.

anyone know hoe can i set my ring tone located to my storage, not from my devicet? bc if you set from my storage right then file will automatically copy to my device...

how to set my sms tone? can i use mp3 on it? where should i store my sms mp3 files?

i just use windows explorer actually.....just copy and paste from my computer into my omnia....it copies....but slow lar....i movie about 4-5 mins.

dont copy the files to the phone root directory......copy it to My storage....thats your 8g or 16g storage. the root is just 128 MB for your programs and a few files....not enough for movies.

there is a real player for windows mobile which im sure will be able to play .rm files.

Going to install core player on mine and see how many more movie types i can play.

FYI, for those who have similar problem as above. Do a hard reset ( a proper one ) on your device.

I did mine ( infact twice simultaneously ). Everything is back to normal now.

Also for Alarm tone, put inside \Windows, and files must be in .wav format.
