smile detection??? i tot this is only in sony cyber shot camera... LOL... anyway... the spec are like Wow... release same date as iphone 3g?? rumors... LOL too many phone too choose now!!!

nice stuff....but turned off by WQVGA

Yupe, the WQVGA is the one big downside that disappoints me. But if they incorporate WVGA, the price might go higher and battery life shortened too.

Looks speedy compare to Diamond although 128mb ram...
The only things need to brush up is their interface..

i've checked the price...its USD790...around RM25++....will be HTC touch diamond's direct competitor....
another source "The 16GB version will retail for S$1,098 (US$722.37)"

25++ for WQGVA....sad....i can think of so many models which are better

Can't really expect low price at WM phone, especially this omnia built in most advance technology inside.

thank god its 16gb for that price...8gb will be around 1 month late..but no price from the official...btw...its not Official price for Malaysia ....so u might anticipate diff within RM200+ ....

Added on June 17, 2008, 7:17 pmif u r comparing wqVGA,then yes..i agree that there r other models which are better...but pls compare btwn apple to apple basis...i can only say that SE X1,HTC diamond pro,apple iphone ver 2(not wm based),can compete with omnia...and pls dun compare models like taiwan based company that produce sub-par quality phones(except HTC),such as asus LAMBORGINI...such a floop...hais...and the eten and gigabyte wm phones...hais...

but i think the wqvga really not a famous resolution.. so just scared those 3rd party application cannot support by this phone.. beside this down point, its a really advanced pda phone..

Anyone know when this phone will be available in Malaysia ?

It just been launched in Singapore, and according to PPCSG, all units was sold out in one day.

its got 3g plus 5mp summore!!
