thank god its 16gb for that price...8gb will be around 1 month late..but no price from the official...btw...its not Official price for Malaysia ....so u might anticipate diff within RM200+ ....

if u r comparing wqVGA,then yes..i agree that there r other models which are better...but pls compare btwn apple to apple basis...i can only say that SE X1,HTC diamond pro, apple iphone ver 2(not wm based),can compete with omnia...and pls dun compare models like taiwan based company that produce sub-par quality phones(except HTC),such as asus LAMBORGINI...such a floop...hais...and the eten and gigabyte wm phones...hais...
*
but i think the wqvga really not a famous resolution.. so just scared those 3rd party application cannot support by this phone.. beside this down point, its a really advanced pda phone..

smartphone doesnt have touchscreen..

PDA phone using touch screen...

bothing might be using WM.. but different type of OS built. but i forgot what is the OS built name. Like baronic said.. yes, this is not smartphone but a PDA phone.
*
seaedge, the OS built name is actually windows mobile Pro and Windows mobile Standard.. Standard is for smartphone.. without touchscreen interface, where as the pro version is for PDA or so called Pocket PC with touch screen..

I heard from Singapore Omnia user community that ROM update for PDA phone can only be done with Samsung service centres. Anynody can confirmed this? Besides who knows any efficient Samsung service centre in Penang?
I would think HTC Touch Pro and SE X1 are in the same class. Omnia supposed to be same league with Diamond, but with majority of specifications beat Diamond. Just like Blackberry Bold with Nokia E71 are in the same class.
*
yes, the official firmware only can update in Samsung Service Centre, because i think samsung has no pc software like SE, nokia or HTC that can update firmware through PC.. Good news is that the current firmware is really stable and not really needed to update firmware in current situation. (based on singaporean review) rclxms.gif

I dont think that you will find it in PC fair as I never see the samsung will release their product during pc fair time. Perhaps you could try  icon_idea.gif

Anyone working in fmg or friend who can reveal a hint when they will release? thanks  notworthy.gif
*
haha.. i definitely will go pc fair on friday to try my luck, lol.. but really don't think it will be out that day.. as a reviewer mentioned before, if they launch in pc fair, it will shows that omnia is like a cheap device.. laugh.gif
